Blackburn pulled a goal back - Pedersen long throw and near post flicked header by Nzonzi.

Mark Davies misses free header 7 yards out in front of goal. Great chance missed.

PS That Japanese lad on loan at Bolton from Arsenal looks promising.

They are currently 7th, 5 points off the Toon (game in hand) and only 2 infront of Sunderland and Scouse Blue. If you don't class 7th as mid-table then you may find that there'll be there well before next season.
