This is not a blame game but what are your thoughts?

Not making any excuses for the way City played but that's two games on the spin where the oppo's have kicked shit out of us and we've received fack all.

Mind you Barry's tackle on Whelan was a little tasty

He's a rag. He has a scum tattoo. Scum bed sheets, scum towels. Scum cups and plates and a scum packed lunch box. He has a scum thermos.

He collects football stickers but only keeps the fucking scum ones and throws the rest away.

CHEATING BASTARD. I hate the cunt. Fucking despise him and I would punch him in the head until he died if I could get away with it. SCUMBAG.

My only issue is the lack of protection for players at times. He gave the fouls but didnt treat some severly enough to stop them happening and as I said at the time the fould on Silva was basically a red and it only got a foul.I am almost certain Mario would have gone for that.

I believe Mancini didnt do a press briefing in case he said something he shouldnt and I expect that's what it would have been about.

We had bent refs in the past and that played a major card in our away decline and i think we had another Webb problem this season, but can't recall where.

He is a well known cunt, but i rather have him than Atkinson or Clattenburg, or of course Foy.

And to be fair, they had a pen today, in the first half at that intervention that Barry had. He did a stupid thing, but got away with it.

As I said, not a blame game. I like ref's to let things go early, especially when they are just niggly fouls but his stance on Barry beggared belief after some of the things that had gone on. Silva was clearly taken out and Barry was pushed by Crouch prior to the goal. There were numerous incidents that were waved away by Webb which have an affect on the game. Certain players must be wondering what the hell is going on and it must surely affect them on the field.

But yes, it's just an excuse.

Balotelli pulled back (by his face), free kick no card. Barry pulls back one of theirs a few mins later and gets booked. It's not the reason for our poor performance but the inconsistencies are frustrating.

Agree with the above and add the Yaya tackle (which wasn't a foul) results in a yellow after Yaya understandably is upset at the call. Mario gets fouled every time he touches the ball and never a yellow for persistent fouling.

If you can see that from Sweden, then it must be true.

Sure is. It's a fest over here you know. Leading sportspaper shouting out loud "City just joint leaders". False, we are NOT joint leaders. We are top. Goal difference counts.

Ahhhh, the joint leaders thing. Sky are the masters of that one and usually spout off that we finished 3rd last season.

Signore, that wasn't an elbow. It was leading with the arm. There's a big difference.

... That's at least what the moronic commentator said when they showed Mancini gesuring to the 4th official.
In my opinion it was at least a yellow. That said, I thought Webb did an OK job today. We've suffered much worse refereeing performances this season.

My issue with him is that he doesn't let the game flow at all. Blows for every fucking thing and makes the game so stop starty it's unwatchable.

It's just the little things which piss me off. Like at least five times yesterday he could of played the advantage but always chooses to blow for the foul. I like refs who give leeway, don't blow for every minute foul and at least give the game a chance to flow.

I agree in general although I do think you are better off having a free-kick in and around your own box rather than letting the game "flow" for the sake of it. Advantage should be a genuinely better situation than a free-kick to the team fouled.

I also like refs who get things right.
