Those two games will be games of football with both teams trying to win the game rather than kick-fests/massed defences, which is what we have struggled with. I think we'll win both.

Swansea tried to win the game. Look what happened.

Swansea stuck 11 men behind the ball twice and hoped for the best.

This.

We started tactically badly & let them pass. Then when we stepped up, they played just like Everton or Stoke & parked the bus, but with a bit more passing when they occasionally touched the ball.

Only 8 cup finals until the end of the season boys, buckle up and "enjoy" the ride.

Dronny ive got a pair but they have been crushed a lot on away days and are looking a bit shrivelled.
Ive also got a realistic pair right here and if anybody wants to use them please be my guest but they still have to go on the road to Arsenal,Norwich,Wolves and Newcastle and come away with all the points. NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

Spot on LAHAD. Blind optimism in abundance around here, bare facts of our away form since November tells a completely different story.

We've had 5 bites at the cherry this season, and to come away with nothing with this squad, is some achievement.

So basically; it's possible for a side to go completely to shit, but it's impossible for the same side to find form again ?

So Arsenal were beaten at home to Spurs & are currently in 10th place then ?

The old City mentality returns; everyone can do stuff apart from us.

In answer to the original question, no we haven't 'blown it' as there are still plenty of matches to go - however the facts are that we are struggling to destroy sides - I'd be disappointed now if we finished second, but I'd have been happy to accept it at the start of the season. Yes gloating rags are irritating, but look at it another way, we should be proud of how far we have & will push them & the rest of the league need to hang their heads in shame at the pathetic challenge they have put up

No.

It's still in our own hands so we haven't blown anything, yet. It's that fucking simple.

Granted our away form needs drastic improvement but that is entirely possible with the squad we have.

I accept that as things stand it looks more likely that the Rags will win it but until such time until we can't catch them we haven't blown anything, I can't believe so many of you are willing to raise the white flag and I pray that the attitude in the dressing room isn't as negative as it is on here from some.

What's all this ON THE ROAD *hit didn't realise that we were on tour supporting The American Roadies. Just wish we could get back to playing proper Soccer.

If you take away the fact that we are so close to that lot at the top of the league I think you would have said that a four point return from the last two games was a fairly good return. Against a well established premiership team at home and away to a rough and tumble anything but football side.

The fact is that we haven't yet blown it as our destiny is pretty much in our own hands although granted we would have to rely on goal difference, and when you look at the remaining fixtures I'm not really sure how much easier their run in is compared to ours. They still have to play quite a few sides from down at the bottom whereas ours are predominantly against mid table ish sides some of whom will try and play football.

Although hugely disappointed by the Stoke result after the high of the comeback against Chelski I'm still confident we are going to pip them so let's put all this negative talk back in the box and see what the situation is after Leslie brings his newly relegated side to town. Eh?

Yeah but we're 2nd so no point mentioning it.

Lads I know we've improved a shitload but some of us think we've thrown it away. We need to lose this mindset of "well done, so close" and go for the fucking throat. 5 points clear we should have been going balls out to win it and send them fuckers hiding.

There is no denying that we have invited united back into pole position.

What pisses me off is that I cant accept that we're throwing it away. I want the team and Mancini to show the same fight and passion that I feel.

We ALL KNOW that we are shite away from home. Ted made very good points against Swansea about how we need to fuck this slow, sideways tippy tappy bollocks off. But we have not seen that since and that is why i am shitting it and getting angry at the team and managers.

Chelsea - until we got the penalty, yes we were the better team, but i kept screaming at the players that it was TOO slow. We had pace and time to murder them. We would have done so earlier in the season, but our attacks were so slow that we would wait until even torres got back.

Lisbon - was only the second game I have ever missed so can't comment. But sounded similar.

Stoke - the same bollocks performance as against Swansea.

So we are not learning? And this inludes two HOME performances which nobody is mentioning.

If we learn our lesson then I am confident. But i feel Mancini is so stubborn / some of the players are playing so shite without a reality check that I am worried this will just carry on until the end of the season.

We didn't really have the right players available up front for this game though. From now on, after Aguero has had a week off it could be different.

But even so everything needs to be about 20% quicker. It's just slow, slow even when Aguero plays.I remember when we beat Spurs 5-1, just look how quickly and efficiently we moved the ball that day. That performance was one of the finest I've ever seen.

We have blown a 5 point lead and after the Munich's match tomorrow it will probably be an 8 point turnaround......that is not acceptable.

I said I will lean towards keeping Mancini if we play like we want to the title and if we come second then Ill accept it but yesterdays performance was the same as against Swansea and as someone said we didn't look like scoring....not good enough.

BTW - Mancini has to be the most stubborn cunt in management.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

This is true but Spurs were trying to beat us though. Even Bolton, Blackburn etc had a go. Since we beat the rags, almost every team we have played has played as if they are lower league teams trying to get to a a penalty shoot out in a cup game. Hardly any other team in Europe has had such a run of unambitious trogs to play against. Even Rags or Barca haven't had teams playing like that every week. If we'd wanted a draw, we could have had one from kick off in every game, including Chelsea, because the first thought of every team has been purely to stop us. Those who have beaten us have almost done it by accident.

Recent results have changed the picture meaning all our coming away games should now be against teams who are trying to win, first & foremost. It gives us a great opportunity if we are smart enough to realise it.

We my actually get the opportunity to counter attack again.

I still recon Arsenal is our key game. They are full of confidence & playing well. They will attack us & it will be totally unlike our recent games. If we can win there, imo we will win the league.

Even if we do go 3 points behind, they still have to come and play us at our place. That's a long way from having 'blown it'.
