3/24 other weekend games

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I tell you what,I could handle losing the league to a side that is better than us, but the shit that has gone on this season is fooking unreal. Surely even these rag fookers are having the buzz taken out of their season when they can see they're having it handed to them..Its really taking it out of me as I can see we're being cheated out of it like fook.

Im getting to the point now where Id be happy to rip them apart at our gaff and finish second. Atleast I could say that head to head we were the better side as opposed to them having teams fooking roll over for them..

And this is why I won't complain if we don't quite make it, it's just too obvious now. Without the Blue Tints it looked a penalty from the off. From the second angle it was still a penalty and from the forward angle was a dead cert. Oliver bowed to Webb and Taggart and now he's another in my book.

I'll be watching City for City from now on and stop believing that we ever had a chance of winning the league this season. It was just too much to think that it would be a level playing field, especially in the 20th season of the modern game.

Beef, the problem is that altough there is no sign that this league is fair, that won't stop them.
In general people are stupid and they eat what papers and tv sells them. That's why the Sun, NOFW, etc had so much readers and so on. If sky, and other rag loving twats tell them week after week that united is better, that City is the bad guy, that they deserve to win the league, they will accept that, They will accept and believe that United are better, that is normal for a team not to receive a pen at their ground (what Mcmananananananam said, and don't forget he played many years at the highest level).

This shit has gone so deep that it became normal for many people.

Funny how 2 mins after denying that pen he happily blows his whistle for Ashley Young blatantly falling over to waste time.

I hope Blackburn shit on them from a great height next Monday.

Of course the rags are big favourites to hammer them, but imo, if Blackburn have a little bit of luck, they can take something off these shits & the fact that they have already beaten them, will give their fans some belief.

As people know i dont think we will win the league this year for many reasons, reasons that have been done to death but now whatever happens City have got to absolutely smash these fucking horrible rags into the Etihad turf on derby derby, absolutely smash them to bits regardless.

It MUST happen,it HAS to happen,We need to fire another shot at them for the next season and then Improve on it.

Fucking rubbish they are.

Yes Yoda........

and macmanaman saying "it IS a penalty, but you can understand that's a hard one to give to the away team at Old Trafford, because if he gives it and he's wrong he will be slated up and down the country" then adding "but he is wrong"...genius.

THIS is the fucking mentality that is going to lose us the league.

They are invincible, even when they play like shit. A magic spell has been cast around them. It's fucking horrible. As a neutral fan, wouldn't you be fucking yearning for City to unseat these cunts from their seemingly immutable position?

You would think so, but a lot of them seem to prefer to just stick with the teams they are used to winning everything.

You'll probably find that after all these years it's only the die hards or normal challenging teams who don't want them to win, most have now come to terms with the status quo and align themselves secretly to gather that intrinsic glow from a winning team.

Just something I noticed the other day.

This

Im just getting to a point where I HAVE to accept that champions league football and the double over them is the best we're going to get. I hope to fook that Im wrong, but they're just getting it their way left, right and centre..What I tend to find is that if a side has some big call goin for them or against, which is obvioulsy a bad call, they tend to try and level it up in another game. Will they do this for the rags??? will they fook.

what is all the shit about the ' game is fixed' I haven't seen the whole game but I did see the penalty shout. should have been a penalty but at full pace it was difficult to see.

alot of very negative comments but nothing has changed tonight, if anything we should feel slightly more optimistic. that utd team will drop points, how we respond is another matter

We know mate, we know. What is it that they say, 'People don't like change'; very simple but true concept. People don't mind United winning, it's the norm and people accept it as so.

That's probably a fair comment but the fact that another little piece of my footballing heart died tonight doesn't make it right. I invested 90 odd minutes of my time tonight to see a football match, one that I wasn't worried about the score but one where I wanted to at least seen an honest outcome. Once again, it wasn't to be because one of the corporation failed to give the right call.

Didn't watch any of the game, but ok with that result. Really expected a cricket score and our slim goal difference eradicating. We beat them at the Etihad and we're top. Well, apart from when Wigan lose to them by the cricket score anyway.

I still don't think we will win every away game, as we're just so poor away from home. But if we did, I believe we'd win it. As the rags would crack. Just a pity we can't win away and I'm going to keep thinking that and accepting the league has gone, as it's the hope that hurts in the end.

If you could be happy with that without watching then you may as well give up now. Especially considering that you've give up anyway.

I really cannot understand why after seeing them stumble over the line tonight albeit with a great big push fro the ref how anyone on here thinks they will definately win the league. They were shite against non fuckin triers there is a reason they lost those 2 Europa home games both Ajax and Bilbao had the belief they could win.

Never watch them unless I think there's a real chance they'll get beat. I was expecting them to get 4 plus goals, so to only win by one doesn't dent our goal difference advantage.

Sounds like Fulham should have had a penalty and guess what, they didn't get it. No surprise there. We're playing against 12 and they play with 12, so don't hold your breath waiting for help or even fairness in the run in.
