This is why i get so angry. However I dont think we have anything to do with it? Other than the noise/ support on saturday (as I'm starting to get doubtful of us playing at home now!).

The outcry of the fans (albeit on messageboards) came after Swansea. And we have played exactly the same in the 3 proceeding games. So what the fuck can we do? I wish I could get10 mins with the players.

I wish you could too. Hopefully they would kick the fucking shit out of you and break all your fingers.

that actually made me el oh el my friend.

quite an amazing amount of "no"'s seeing as it's patently obvious that we have

games like last night show that we needed at least a 6 point buffer between us at this point as big decisions always go their way at this time of the season
lets also be realistic about our run of games compared to theirs - we've still go arsenal and newcastle away - we ain't picking up 6 points there

Sorry to be the pessimist but you may as well get the dissapointment out of the way now and emjoy your summer

Ha don't think they'd have the balls. Probably stand there passing the blame, slowly, side to side, before cashing their cheques.

I think we`re still ok. Scum will drop more points than against just us and I can see us drawing with the arse. Very tight but we will win by a point.

It's not blind faith when we are in our current position, having been without Yaya and Kolo for a month, Vinny and Mario suspended for 4 games each, Tevez AWOL for 5 months, and both of our 1st choice center backs injured for the past few weeks. It's not blind faith when you look at who is available now in our damn squad. And it's not blind faith when you consider what the team is capable of playing like with 8 games to go.

Blind faith would be thinking that Spurs will win the league or that Liverpool will qualify for the champions league.

There are plenty of games to go and anything can happen. Why do you assume that our form will stay consistently poor, while the rags will keep winning everything? If anything, I'd say you have blind faith in the rags

Hang on, according to most, Kolo is liability. And we have been shit away from home for much longer than since the ACN, so I can't buy that, and cup games aside, we did well in the league during their absence. It is March and December which have been the biggest issue.

The point I was making is that United, since we beat them, have overturned a 5 point deficit, and gained 8 points on us. That trend does not look like changing because we seem singularly unable to go out and take a game by the scruff of the neck. So i'm afraid that when you weigh everything up, we are heading in the wrong direction which means that if someone is "certain" we will win the league, it is either blind faith, or blagging.

You mean how we were unable to get a result vs Chelsea 2 games ago? The trend looks pessimistic because you're working with a too narrow set of data. Expand your view to 2 years and you'll see an extremely optimistic one.

Also once again, it's not blind faith to think that your team (3 points from the top with 8 games to go and yet to play the #1 team at home) will win the league. We have been through a rough patch of form, but there is a lot of time left. I don't expect players of our quality to allow bad form to persist much longer. You are either the most pessimistic person on the planet or don't understand the term "blind faith"

Blind faith is Abraham trusting god to sacrifice his only son Isaac, and still have a long family line for years to come. Blind faith is not believing that your team will win the league, when we are the best team in the league and have a strong mathematical probability to do so.

There is a very fine line between blind faith and arrogance

http://www.unitedtees.net/

A bad run of form does not last for close on 5 months. Just because we beat Chelsea at home, so what - home games are not the issue. You seem to be completely ignoring not only the results away from home, but the performances and the manner in which we are not taking the game to the opposition and/or being incredibly profligate in front of goal.

Not to mention the bizarre posession/foul statistics which seem to keep having us having the lions share of posession, yet having nearly double the opposition's foul count - which, whilst i'm not a paid up member of the conspiracy club, does make you wonder just what we actually are up against

Lots of drama to come til the end methinks, we will stumble some they will stumble some.
We can keep the faith in Mancini and the players and support them on the pitch to do our part.
Tough one to call who will win, if we were level on points it'd be a 50/50 shot
