The formation that suits him would likely alienate silva, Nasri, aguero and a few others. I think it's dzeko that needs to change.

Not really, it would just be a choice between the 3. We've changed our shape, we want it all through the middle. Why is it that Nasri got wide and set Dzeko up; why was it that Silva seen Nasri wide and played the ball into him; and why ws it that Sergio played off the defenders forcing them away from goal to allow the space for Silva, Nasri and Dzeko to produce those goals?

It's not the players, it's the formation and tactics. Unless you have another explanation for our lack of everything?

PS. I'm being called so won't get this 'til morning.

I'm not denying that we can play wide, but why choose between those 3 to accommodate the one not making the effort?

I think Dzeko is a really talented player & it's fair comment that he would do better with service from wide, but so would Aguero & Balotelli; crosses don't have to be in the air.

I said when we signed him that we should have gone for Lllorente if we wanted a big man up front. He is tougher but more than that, you can play the ball into his chest or feet on the edge of the box & he will keep it & play the midfield runners in.

Andy Gray made the point re Tevez' goal assist that had that been Dzeko, he would have turned & had a shot blocked rather than pass through to Nasri. That criticism is spot on imo but would also be true of Aguero & Balotelli. None of them are doing as well as they should in those situations & it's one of the reasons our through the middle style doesn't work as it should.

Out of all our strikers, Dzeko is the real centre forward & he should be great at it, but he's not. He should have learned to do it since he came over but he hasn't so far. Perhaps against weaker defenders in another league he would find it easier as he won't get such physical pressure.

I would add, that if Mancini's interest in wide players is true, it is unlikely that Dzeko would be sold, unless we have a similar player coming in.

Will he start tomorrow with Aguero ruled out?

Dzeko on his twitter:
"And now adio...who knows when and where".

I hope that really is what it means.

He definitely needs to find different club for himself, beacuse a team made out of problematic, expensive "stars", led by an uncharismatic coach who often goes against his word, has no bright future.

Simply, in this team there is no place for Mancini, Dzeko, Balotelli, Tevez and all of italian's managerial mistakes.

By just looking at the way that's put down, it looks like a song to me. Please translate or confirm if there is a song with those lyrics?

Edit: It is lyrics to a song. Is it a popular song?

Ofcourse there's a song (I confirm) and usually we sing it when we're going somewhere or when something is ending/changing in our lives.

Obviously Twattered just before the game last night. Must've been upset at not starting or he was just listening to a song on his I-thing.

Dzeko listens to Vera Lynn on his I Pod ?
No wonder he wanders around the pitch with no inspiration!!

Harsh. Get me Tevez's brain..we will scrape away at the spongy, often overlooked part that controls loyalty towards greasy iranians and demands for excessive payments...we will then send him back out into battle minus puppyfat...he will forget everything that has passed, and we will forgive the little bastard

Its a rumour....

Fuck me, I don't want Dzeko poisoning BM with his rapist touch and poor effort..although Muller, Ribery, and Robben
would certainly give him some crosses...and I guess coming off the bench to replace Gomez instead of Olic coming on would
be "an upgrade"...?? Bayern need to buy a center half not a forward.
