Most level headed Rags I know openly admit that they believe U*d get a disproportionate amount of calls in their favour at the swamp. Everyone gets calls in their favour at home, naturally because of the pressure from the crowd but at more high profile succesful clubs that pressure intensifies which in turn sees the likes of U*d getting more than their fair share.

Even Graham Poll has alluded to this since he retired, yet you patronise people for holding this belief, why?

Cos its been going on for years(as Paddy said) and to say the bigger clubs get it more just strikes me as, bitterness and an allegation that has only the basis of peoples prejudices.At around 40 secs in the link Beefy has put up Paddy says he thinks what has been reported,now for us to say that is a misrepresentation of what he said strikes me as a bit contradictory.If it has been going on for years surely its something we have to take into account if we are going to win this thing.Everybody loves the rags yeah right.

I'm not discussing whether he was misrepresented or not, so why are you saying that to me?
Fair enough if it strikes you as bitterness, there's other ways of expressing that opinion other than the patronising manner in which you do.

I dont see what has been said is wrong, or even to the detriment of united. The article appears to group the "top clubs" which as someone else has already said, graham poll even admitted that even though referees try not to let bacons rantings get to them, it does have an impact on refereeing

I thought it made us look like crybabies who were complaining that we couldn't play the same game as the big boys but on reflection I made a mistake in my interpretation of what Paddy said.

I think we are reading a bit too much into this. I think he's an honest lad and when asked about Scholes and now reffs he has given his honest opinion. At the time Scholes came back the rags mid field was a joke. So he was right on that. And of course reffs give more helpful decisions at places like Scum and Barca. It's how it has always been.
