When he slid across Rooney and took the ball in our box I was thinking "oh crap he's on a yellow" but apparently that didn't enter into his thinking.

he got very lucky immediately after that when he got up and miscontrolled the ball straight to Nani on the edge of the box. Good job he shot wide.

I don't care if Tevez is our main goalscorer and talisman of the team. Vincent Kompany is the leader and should be captain.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is optimistic he will be fit to make his comeback against Sunderland on Saturday.

Kompany has sat out City's last four matches after picking up an injury during the early stages of the 1-0 defeat away by Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League earlier this month.

However, the Belgium international is now back in training and believes he will be available for selection when City entertain Sunderland at the weekend.

"Just had my second training session with the team," he Tweeted. "If all goes to plan I will be available for the Sunderland game."

During Kompany's absence, City have fallen three points behind local rivals Manchester United in the Premier League title race and been knocked out of the Europa League.

A 3-2 home win over Sporting saw City eliminated on away goals, while Roberto Mancini's side have won just one of three league games without Kompany.

The previous leaders followed up a 1-0 defeat at Swansea by beating Chelsea 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium before drawing 1-1 at Stoke City last weekend.

Joleon Lescott has also not played since the away game with Sporting, meaning Micah Richards and Kolo Toure have started at centre-half for the last two matches.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Just seen the score sheets. Kompany might be playing tomorrow. The other probable starters are - Hart, Kolo, Clichy,Richards, Barry, Yaya, Balotelli, dzeko, Silva and Nasri

Did we win?
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

He didnt actually complete the full training session today (sat out the end match) but I expect that was just being careful and he will be ok for tomorrow.
