Aguero, Tevez and silva

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Aguero, Tevez and silva

Postby Original Dub » Wed Apr 11, 2012 9:11 pm

I think its only the second time they started together? I remember the first was pretty impressive and they looked unplayable tonight.

Aguero and tevez drag the defenders with them and bingo, space for silva again.

Its no coincidence he took them all off as soon as game was won.

They HAVE to start against norwich and for the rest of the season if possible imo.

If Herman had even 20 % of intelligence, we could had been champions by now.

Just sayin.

got to agree, the movement off ball helps silva, he as more space, gets to pick a pass to intellegent players or can go himself, i would like this strikeforce to continue now

Barca win with midgets, so can we..Id like to see this formation as plan A from now on. I know it was only WBA but we looked unplayable at times tonight.

20% kinhell where do you live? I'd say about 4% tops.

seriously he isn¡t match sharp, so I'd expect a lot more from him as games go, same every start of the season.

What I would say is that - poss due to better players around him, he is using them more and actually making part of the team as opposed to the Tevez show. I like that and it way way way overdue.

I think we've stumbled on the answer there tonight up top.

Thats the sharpest we have looked in attack for a long while. Its amazing when you have 3 quality players who, whilst not in great form, are not afraid to work hard for the team.

The difference when Dzeko came on was striking. That glorified pub player must be our plan b.

If we can, start these 3 for our final 5 games. Fuck the rotation, we dont need to rotate with 5 games left. I think it will produce he best results.

And imagine having Yaya just off them.....

It's destroying, how annoying it is, how good we would have been with a fully (mentally and physically) functioning Carlos Tevez. Pressure was off, yes. Silva rested seems like a massive 'why rest him now' but still....

(rested as in before this, obv.)

Tevez links midfield to attack superbly which also takes some of the pressure off Silva.

when you have one of the best 3 players on a team that's clearly one of the best 5 squads in the world, and we couldn't find a way to make good with him, well...then...only one person to blame imho.

Look, either Carlos is mentally ill or Roberto is a stubborn cockface. Your call.

cheers

Meh, I wouldn't read too much into last night's match. Baggies gave us acres of space on the ball.

Carlos is mentally ill and you are as enjoyable as a case of gonorrhea. Always have to search for the negative, even when there is no point

and Nasri. With these players, we have the best 4 attackers in the league. It's amazing that they rarely start together. That's why I just don't get it when Mancini keeps complaining about a lack of players.
