From the start it made such a difference with 2 players up front who were putting it in.We were not great by any stretch of the imagination for quite a while against a really boring negative side but there was more happening for me with that team tonight.

Silva still needs to find his form from early on in the season...he scored a great goal and had some moments but overall his game is still not 100%.

Agree that we set out to do what we should have done against Sunderland and Arsenal...Bob has to do this every match from now on..no more fuckign around "resting" players...play them till they drop...we have a few games left.

It was important because I think West Brom are a good team with a good manager and for that reason it was difficult.

I'm happy for him [Tevez] and his performance. He is not ready to play one game. He played 60 minutes. He can improve in the last five games."

Okay. This commentary I love. He knows it's finished unless united belief it's finished. City certainly don't believe it's over.

Roberto, make me fall in love with you again you stubborn daego twat!

Had Dzeko been treated regularly and played regularly, when he was in the right form, the attitude would be different. And probably the title would be closer if not there.

Im not defending him, but I can understand when someone loses motivation.

Bad managing all the way from the start to the end. Not the only, but one of the main reasons of this season's failure.
I say failure because the title was there to grab it, yet Mancini beat himself.

Reading this thread was almost as much fun as watching the game!

The fat lady has left the building and was last seen heading towards Old Trafford. We need one more wobble from them and we have them in our grip.

A huge party like the old days, singing dancing, true belief coming back, Roy's missus was down to her knickers with her legs wide open.

Then grandad arrived, told Carlos, Sergio & Dave they had to go, turned off the music, turned the lights up & half the guests were sat looking at their watches whilst the other half went home.

He'd lets us have fun for a while but then he was suddenly worried about the neighbours again.

Good thumping home win, kept the ball better, made chances, took them.

The key word is HOME win though. The home form hasnt really been the problem, its the away form thats the thing and until we demonstrate we have the cojones to go and win away from home, little or nothing has changed.

Just shut the fuck up about dzeko yoh arse clown.

Two posts from you in a manchester city match thread. One saying city won't win the league because fucking dzeko isn't being played by mancini.

Mancini brings him on and you post the same drivel again and include "I'm not defending him".

You are not a city fan, stop pretending you are.

Start a fucking dzeko forum and stop polluting this one. You and your gay dzeko bum boy mates.

Anyway, on topic... Great night's football. Can't wait for saturday.

C'mon City :)

That is well out of order Dub. We all know that the league would be already wrapped up if Dzeko played every minute of every game.

Why is it that only myself and the Bosnians can see this?

Mate such a learned soul as yourself should know the term "dago" refers to the Spanish! As you probably know ,but alas the years have robbed you of such cognitive faculties, the term "dago" is derived from "Diego" which is purportedly the perjorative term used by none other than Sir Francis Drake to describe our Iberian cousins, in particular those from Galicia in the north west of said peninsula.

Here endeth the history lesson
