What's This About Shrek Having A Spat With Taggart?

Postby Beefymcfc » Fri Apr 13, 2012 11:32 am

I've just read in an article that Shrek had a spat with the Crusty One, anybody see or hear about it?

Is the pressure getting to them?

Probably the same old "the team are shit and you refuse to buy anyone you old fucking has been"

"Fuck youuuu ya wee bald shit"

That never really happened but ended up getting shrek's wages doubled. But taggart doesn't take no shit from no one no how so you can expect Rooney to be sitting in a box having a lager during the villa game......or not.

my two closest rag friends don't even want to talk to me...they think we've done a Keegan and i have told them they are about to. ;) i may not exactly believe that, but...still.

I am pretty sure say 85% that they've got this sewn up, but...you never know.

losing 3 out of 6 seems insane given their form, but that's what we need. They've dropped one, and if we do our business until we meet them then we just need one match to go our way. I'm really hopeful for a last day of the season romp where we still have a shot. a lot of hard work to do between now and then however.

It was mentioned on Wed night post game that slur subbed shrek after an 'exchange' not sure if that was on the match commetary or somewhere else. Seems to have been mostly ignored.

I was reading the text commentary from the rag game on BBC whilst watching our game on Wednesday. There was reference made to Shrek being summoned to the sideline by Slur on a couple of occasions and getting his ears reddened.

Oh and Doomie, they don't need to lose 3, if they draw one it's back in our hands again.

Edit: can't copy/paste of the page. The bit I was referring to is at 20.15 on the text commentary

the MAIL said:

" Before half-time Rooney was targeted from the touchline by Ferguson on three separate occasions, and when the red-faced Scot then saw his principal striker among those who backed off Shaun Maloney before he scored Wigan's 50th-minute goal he decided he would not be on the pitch much longer. "

now I'm going for a shower

Caption competition anyone?

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Cheers mate, it was only mentioned in one of the City blogs and was wondering what happened.

Does anybody know if there were any spats/sulks when he was subbed?

Have the press asked Taggart if there is unrest within his camp; is Shrek being sold?

Seeing Rooney get his leg snapped and hearing him scream would be up there with the 6-1 and the FA cup semi and final in terms of my happiest football memories.

It would be my avatar within minutes of it happening.

I heard it on the radio commentary. Let's face it the scum need a goal and TAKE ROONEY OFF. That says just about everything and confirms it's bound to be more a disciplinary type reason than anything else. After all shrek is the best player and goalscorer in England!

Sulking and taking off your best striker in those circumstances is fucking piss poor management and shows that Ferguson can crack under pressure, just like anyone else.

Classic 'if your not doing what im telling you to do then ill put someone on in your place who will'.

Im not sure whether you do that with Rooney when your only going to replace him with a lesser talent though. Especially when you need a goal or 2.
