How will RM approach the Norwich game?

Will he change the team, if so who. Will we be compact and tight and contain Norwich City and invite them to come onto us so we hit the on the break or do we go flat out and smash them, or does he tell them to be totally lack luster like our previous 3 last away games?

Full backs rotated. Same CB's. yaya back so nige dropped. Dzeko to start and tevez to come on at about 60 minutes if we are winning or 86 minutes if we are losing/drawing.

Norwich have a lot of injuries though so we should be fine.

Glad you have started this thread cos I was thinking about doing the same and asking the question if anyone was looking forward to this game just as game, forget the title chase etc etc just a game of football against a team that can play and will try.

The combo up front seems certain to start. The big question is Yaya. If fit nough for 60 at least then why not start him and look to back up the front 4. That in turn then begs the question would we need Barry. My thought is yes, but I would like to see DeJong in there and compress the midfield up. Something has to give and despite wanting to see Yaya with that front line I'd let him rest this one out and keep with Barry and NDJ.

The option is there though which is perhaps enough.

My gut feeling is that he will approach the game in the team bus along with the players and the backroom staff, that is unless he has organised alternative transport.

However we start the game, be it playing well or back to our shitty away form, if we reach the 30 mins to go point and we're not in front, once again he needs to fuck the tactics off and chuck in the kitchen sink. Bring on as much firepower as we can get on the pitch & go for it.

If we'd done that at Arsenal, I would now have us as favourites for the title. Whatever happens before, 30 mins is enough for four or five goals if you,ve got the firepower to bring on, especially when the oppo is getting tired. You just have to have the belief that you can force the oppo back by sheer weight of attack. Rags have proved that can be done, year in year out & we have done it ourselves in the past few weeks.

EARLY GOAL. That really is the key. We need to play the first 20 minutes at a real high tempo, put them under pressure from the off. In summary everything we haven't been doing away from home this year. The longer it goes 0-0, the more confidence Norwich get, the more frustrated we get and then we find ourselves 1-0 down.

I smell a distinct lack of confidence the team hasn't really got it's mojo back.

Also afraid to say it but it is Tevez that is going to make the difference, as he is one player who doesn't bother one bit whether the team is home or away. He will lift the team on his own with that attitude quite apart from the fact that playing deeper is exactly what the team has been missing in Silva and Nasri not quite being at it.

I agree, the same team and the same tactics as Wednesday and just go for it. Wear them down and get the all important first goal then increase that goal tally as they chase the game

i'd think twice about bringing ya ya back. He's too busy at the moment and is getting in the way of others, particularly dropping so deep to pick the ball up. Plus he's hopeless v pace defensively. I'd be inclined to give him a rest and keep the same team, maybe bringing him on if we go a goal down.Pushing up and then setting Aguero and Tevez loose in their box is the key.
