They really have been shite this season haven't they? not long ago they were banging on the door for CL.
Can't see them getting anything.

They are the worst side in the leauge. At least Wolves, Blackburn Bolton and co have been all had a bit of drama surrounding them.

They slashed their wage bill, sold all their best players and did not invest. I am not sure what they expected to happen other than this. If they continue on this strategy they will go down next year.

I do feel a bit for McLeish who I do rate. However, the way he has Villa playing at home this season makes it hard for me to have any sympathy for a generally decent bloke.

As long as they don't let any in I'll settle for that.

From some of the comments that have been said on this subject, to me it seems a lot of our fans who are members of the conspiracy club, give me the idea that they think evrybody who is not a fan of us must have the rags as their second team, or the people in power at least. Hence they want those fuckers subconsciously to win and do what is needed to achieve this.If this is the case then it seems pretty futile for us to try and change someones loyalties. We just have overcome this as one of the obstacles in front of us.However I think there plenty who want to see them fail. All this paranoia about teams rolling over for them methinks is just an excuse for our own bad play.

Not quite mate, I've thought this for years so it's nothing new is it. It could be that those who see nothing wrong with the media attack or errant refereeing decisions are just being blinded by their own sense of being.

How's Mourinho doing over there btw, didn't he come our with some conspiracy stuff lately? Personally, I just can't see it and think he's lost the plot. He's getting a bit twitchy of late and without those 2 excellent goals against Getafe I think he'd be walking around with pencil's up his nose.

The idea that a lot of football people over here are either rags or rag sympathisers isn't paranoia, it's fucking true.

Well how do you suggest we show them the error of their ways because i think that we are pissing up a hill if we think we can change peoples loyalties they have had for years.

Quite a few good managers have came out of that league with only two clubs.

Did very well at his previous two sides before going to Rangers achieving the highest position possible. Two thirds with Hibs and a cup final which is about as good as it gets for them as they havent won the Scottish Cup in 104 years or something like that. I am sure you remember it well though Carl.

Worked with his hands tied behind his back at Rangers to have a record similar to big spending MON at Celtic. First manager to take a Scottish side through to the second phase of the CL.

Done a brilliant job with an average Scottish side and got them to within a goal of getting out of a group with Italy and France in it.

Took Birmingham up, took them to their highest finish in the Premiership and won a trophy. Sure they went down but they are a yoyo club and if I was a Birmingham fan I would have took a trophy over staying up. They dont come along that often, as we know.

He has done a bad job at Villa so far. I wont argue with that. But if given time I think he will turn it around.
