ITK rubbish

Postby kinsey » Fri Apr 13, 2012 1:33 pm

You all know the drill - A friend of a friend type situation that I don't want to be too specific about in order to protect the innocent!

But...

DZEKO - there is a lot of concern about him within the club. It appears that he is a really nice guy but to an extent that is detrimental to his performances. I suggested that we employ someone to give him a slap in the tunnel before every game, in order to get him fired up! There is also a little worry that he is being led astray by some more well travelled players in the squad.

XAVI - we have been very close in the last two summers to bringing him in. Clearly, he is no long term signing as there are concerns over his knees but the idea was to get a couple of years out of him and then move him upstairs in a Vieira type role. It was thought that he would be a great role model within the Club and that he (with others) would help to improve the culture, especially among the younger professionals. The Club are also looking at some practical steps to curb some of the excess and bling.

OUR OWNERS - not a total shock to hear that they are really straight down the line people. But more than that, they are nice pleasant men! As such, MOURINHO will not be coming here at all - he is not their kind of guy. In fact, they really like/rate Roberto Martinez but have no intentions of making any managerial changes.

GUARDIOLA
- listening to the comments about XAVI & MOURINHO, I asked if there was any truth in the rumours suggesting that Pep might be interested in being a Blue. No real commitment here though it was mentioned that he was very close to becoming Chelsea manager last year but he really wants the Arsenal job.

That is it.

The Xavi rumours have been around for a while but even if Barca decided it was time for him to move on, I can't see him as someone who would want to move here, (with our shit weather & one restaurant etc).

Would love it to be true re them not wanting Mourinho , I just don't want him at all personally, irrespective of which trophies may come with him.

Bob doesn't give the impression of someone who thinks he may soon be out of a job whoever the candidates though. I think he has been told there are no problems in that area. Seems very content in his latest presser.

I think Arsenal is the obvious place for him to go. He is the manager of the greatest side I have ever seen but it is the product of years of hard work behind the scenes. If he takes over us or Chelsea he would be expected to win the title right away and I dont think he would prosper in such an enviroment.

Arsenal fans are now used to not winning. I am positive they would give him the time they need.

why would Wenger leave the Arse? Seems completely ridiculous. If someone means that Pep wants that job in 5 years or 10 years, okay. Until then he'll have to slum it with Barca.

That's a pair of Chinners with regards to Dzeko. I've seen him try twating a few people now while playing for City.

you put the -ass in harass, don't you? don't harass him just because he likes fiction. Probably a fan of the fictional star wars follow on books series which are ever so popular.

cheers
