Tbh I don't see what else we can do. The difference between him & Dzeko & the effect on the team was immense.

I suppose we could try out Dzeko & then go to Tevez later but if bob does that & it doesn't work...

Congrats on becoming one of the most boring active posters. That was a whirlwind transformation.

How can you have a whirlwind transformation into being boring ?

(I know: take your 3 best players off.)

Surely it would be more of a miserable slide though ?

Or as in your case, just start off dull & get worse ?

We won 4-0 (so, so boring!) and you keep sidestepping the larger issue.... TO WIN THE LEAGUE. How can you say that keeping those players on when the game is already won is in the best interests for the rest of the season (especially when we play 3 days later)? Or are you just stubbornly defending a shit point for no reason?

No it's a genuine point & some of you don't get it so I'm just flogging a dead horse.

Imo, giving a player 5 more mins isn't going to make that much more difference. If he's that fucked then he shouldn't be playing the next game anyway. It was building up to something, then it wasn't. If it was Barca, Messi would have stayed on because that kind of stuff matters to them; it's what they are about.

He's been running Silva into the ground all season & leaving him on, then when he starts to play & looks happy, he takes him off.

If he was right on Wed, he's been totally wrong for the past 5 months.

Like I say, there's no point; if you don't get what I mean you're in good company as Bob doesn't get it either & he earns lots of money.

He's got to play Tevez while there's the slightest chance of winning the league unless he's utterly knackered after his hour on Sunday which I doubt. Incidentally does he look as though he eats when he wants? How fat is he at the moment?

Don't worry, best to just leave him alone to sulk like Beefy said. Ted was like this couple of seasons backwhen we got beat by Stoke or someone, just never stopped going on about some minor issue that only he could see. All reasonable analysis out of the window, general clutching of straws and manic swerves. Still was adamant that left was really right. He's got a beef cos he was just starting to enjoy himself on Wed and Bob took his sweeties away, that's about the long and short of it. He won't admit though and will still be going on about it even if indeed we do end up winning the title.

There's no need for that, or any of the other accusations.

I'm not remotely upset about anything, it's you lot who seem to be getting a sulk on for some reason. I think Bob has missed a trick in the last two games & It's a genuine opinion. I think it's the side of his management style that he needs to improve in order to be amongst the real top echelon. He sometimes reverts to managing by numbers when a bit of cavallier spirit is required. In different ways, both the last two games have demonstrated that.

The Wednesday formula showed potential and was the most balanced we've looked for a while too, we must stick with it.

Ive an awful feeling we'll see the full backs rotated unnescessarily and Dzeko though.

Please Bob, fuck the rotation, and just play our best team.

The intangibles must be there too, passion, desire, character, controlled aggression. Rather than the team selection, thats the part im most worried about.

If he changes the team from Wed then he is learning nothing, the back four must not be changed.

The last chance for Mancini for me

Well i agree with Teds sentiments about Wednesday night there was something special happening.I was'nt at the game but for the first time in ages i could actually hear some noise coming from the fans during the 2nd half. But as like Ted says when our main protagonists were taken off my stream no longer heard the crowd.Bob missed a trick he should have given them at least 5 more mins each we would have scored 7.

Both if you are nuts then. Silva is not going to revert back to bad form because he played 5 less minutes. So much concern about something that did no harm and will help us in the game today. like it was said above, mancini can't win with fans who complain about something like this after a 4-0 win where we played 3 days before and have another game 3 days later. no no no, we're just missing the point. It's inconceivable that we understand the point that Ted is trying to make and just disagree with him, or that his opinion/point is just flat out wrong ... we're just missing it.

Worry about fitness at the end of a long, grueling season? No, no my good man ... it all comes down to 5 minutes of extra 'buzz'

as much as i hate [strike]herman[/strike] kia I think it's pretty obvious that he has returned on a gentlemen agreement. and as long as he is committed, as he is when upon positive instructions, he adds depth in going forward, lead the line as the other three still evolving blokes are not fully capable of, and it's pretty clear that is also helping Dave to find his mojo back with his movements and deep droppings and the whole front pack to re-gain fluidity.

I expect/hope no changes, if Yaya ain't perfectly recovered, as I wouldn't risk to worsen his injury in the wake of the derby. I rather have the Big Man on the bench ready to help if needed along with AJ who showed positive glimpses and certainly can provide some depth when is focused and at his spark.

all in all, I cannot see the shitful back line of the canaries to be such an impassable obstacle if our attackers have actually steamed the pressure off.
