Fantastic today.

I could fucking cry about Tevez. Imagine if he was focused on City for next season & then we brought in a couple of players to replace the other slackers ? What a fucking force we would be.

Lescott was magnificent yet again today. Won't get a mention anywhere.

Hell get it from of Me. Its pretty obvious that Mancini wants a better passer but despite that lescott has emerged as one of the best centre backs in the league. Hope this is merely the beginning of his peak!

I think Bob is starting to realise that Lescott is pretty good. I think you are right that he is reaching his peak but I have a worry that injuries will start to hamper him in the coming years. Otherwise I can imagine him becoming one of those veteran/legend kind of geezers at City.

Thank you. I am glad I am not the only one to see it like this. Italian goalkeeping coaches?

Only concern is why on the earth the clueless italian cannot learn that the Scottish Rule provides penalty and red card for diving and instead of mowings in the penalty area.

It's yet another example of the so called 'evening out' of decisions being utter fucking bollocks.

The contrast between the incident in our game (player fouled, no pen, yellow card) & theirs (player offside, not fouled, pen, red card to innoccent oppo player) is like an example of the whole season. (Just look at the last min Fulham incident).

Had that been Balotelli & not Tevez, he would have thrown a wobbler & ended up with a red card a bit later & all the talk would be about how HE has cost us the title, not these gutless shithouses who keep doing Utd favours by shitting on us & helping them.

What's the chances they'll play like shit again tomorrow, against a shit Villa side, then get awarded a goal start to get them firing properly & end up with everyone tralking about their 'experience' ?

p.s. one of the worst goalkeeping flaps i've seen in a while. if he'd just stood still he'd have stopped that.

p.s.s. Andie why do keepers do that "falling back away from the ball" move which invariably creates the space for the ball to go in the net? Dazby, don't try and answer you child.

cheers

I am going to answer, because I've recently asked my goalkeeping swami a similar question. Ruddy missed that because the ball took one hell of a swerve. He was diving the correct way but if you watch the replay it makes one hell of a swerve. A similar incident happened to me once and it's just so embarrassing.

Anyway, I don't think he was falling back away from the ball. He was just following the flight before the flight changed. I find it weird that keepers jump and hit the ground after making saves that they could have made while keeping their feet. I think this is what you are trying to say. My swami believes it allows you to cover the swerves better. I disagree. I think if you remain grounded you can get more purchase on the ball and make a stronger block.

A keeper who falls away from the ball has bad technique. They should be coming forward to assist pushing the ball away from goal.

Thankfully You are so kind to revert some of my thoughts in eloquent english, Master (and hopefully Mate further on, when gained!)

It doesn't withdraw anything from the manager' faults and mainly stubbornesses along the season but, honestly, should had been a fair championship, City domination would have turned the League in a like of the most boring season in La Liga history, imo.

I think you can safely say that they will win their next 2 games just because of the manager's that are there. One thing I noticed today is how Norwich were so far forward. After we went 4-1 up I thought they'd shut-up shop and take that but they still kept pushing. Seemed more like Taggart's tactics than Lambert's but I'm sure there was no contact between the Jock Possie.

Today showed why so many teams defend deep against us. They'd get fucking slaughtered if they opened up. I still want to see us open up defensive minded teams away from home. My model performance against a lesser team is last season's at QPR. We completely dominated them.

Of course I'm pleased about Tevez's three goals. No one doubts his quality. Still that doesn't change the fact that he's a disloyal selfish cunt. Sorry, he and his disgusting agent had a strategy of behaving as badly as possible in order to get a transfer on his own cut price terms. He's a fucking disgrace. We only have a very slim chance of winning the league but while we're in with a shout we have no choice but to hold our nose and make use of his services. Also if he's in the side playing well we can get a better fee for him in the summer. But I can't see him staying at the Club even if Mancini leaves.

At least Norwich had the decency to play an open game against us, as they did v the rags, & not just try to mug us, thus helping them, like many other teams have done.

Not a chance. Even if Everton need something to stay above Liverpool Gollum will hand them the game. He knows where his loyalties lie.

I've mentioned how much of a coincidence it is that United's last 5 games include all his old boys, apart from us of course:

McLeish
Moyes
Rogers
Bruce - now O'Neill

Apart from Villa, who are 6 points clear of the drop but are almost certain of staying up, the rest are clear for this season. You could say that O'Neill isn't a Taggart symphathiser but what's amazed me is the way Sunderland played against us yet have been gash for the other games afterwards. Drew 0-0 at home to Spurs, lost 4-0 to Everton, drew against Wolves today, their team's gone on holiday since the massive effort they put in against us, it really was like their cup final.

I'm still hopeful, of at least one slip-up but I just can't see where that will be to be honest.

Great season though so no tears from me.
