Apparently Neville has reverted to type by more or less saying everybody needs to cheat these days.

Once a fucking piece of cheating scum shit, always a piece of cheating scum shit.

So, he must've mentioned Young in the tumbling part then, not Tevez? Did he name and shame Young or just mention his name and let the viewers put 2 and 2w together?

I think if you get a chance to listen to what Neville actually said, it wasn't that bad. He wasn't condoning it, he was giving the perspective of the professional footballer (which is something most us bar Ms Fu) are not able to do, and he put across a number of very valid points, without glorifying or appeasing the argument. As I said, a very good pundit.

Neville is not being forced to say nice things about city players. Imo he recognizes class in our team and praises it..Nothing wrong with that.

he's a punditary legend...shows how average the standard fare is tbh. Just have a footballing brain and not be afraid to speak your mind and you're top of the dogpile even if yr a rat-faced weasel.

That Neville punditry is fantastic to be fair. Interesting, insightful and honest.

Excellent game, Wigan well worth the win. Martinez pulled it off again by the looks of it.

Neville worth listening to as always. I've said before, he consistently tells me things I didn't already know or puts a slant on things that I hadn't considered. That's what a pundit should do.

Ted and Beefy's highjacking of every thread to spout about bias is ruining the board.

Ted and Beefy's highjacking of every thread to spout about bias is ruining the board.

Eh, have you actually read the thread? My question was not about Neville's perspective it was about a statement that was made mid-game. I apologised to Ted and was asking if it was Tevez' name that was mentioned with the 'going down easy' bit or if Young's name was mentioned as the original statement posted had no mention of Young, just Tevez.

Now, if that's infecting every thread then once again, I apologise to you for seeing it that way however, when I reply to Ted, or Teddy Boy replies to me, then it is because we have varying views that he/I feel need putting across. That is the point of this board, is it not?

What do you want, for us all to agree with each other, to not voice our opinion? Just to note, I was quite agreeable to what Ted has posted in the past but since his recent decision to that of 'Mancini should go' then that's where it changed. Do you really expect me to not voice an opinion to counter his debate, especially when I find some of the debate is not up to his usual standards?

Out of interest, what was/is your stance on the matter? Mine is to wait until the end of the season.

Or, you could just tell me to be quiet.

Beefy, you don't need to apologise and you know the answer to the question you raised about us all agreeing with each other.

My point, and whilst slightly exaggerated isn't far off the mark, is that you and Ted seem unable to let a thread slip without making a serious remark or a tongue in cheek remark which is in some way linked to the media/referees/fa/pl/pundits and their bias against us/in favour of united. I find it annoying, boring and tiresome.

I'm not trying to censor you, you'll post what you like regardless of my views, but given the prolific nature of both of you in terms of volume of posts, it does set the trend and sometimes results in potentially good threads veering off in to a 'everyone hates us' diatribe. It is having a negative impact on the board and is affecting my enjoyment of the place.

If I open a thread and like clock work you or ted arrive with your usual "sky four/rag media/rag refs/motd scum/bent fa" I generally sigh and move on to a new thread as inevitably the lemmings jump in and the actual point of the thread is lost.

This is something I have noticed for some time and I decided to comment on it.

I'm not asking you to stop or to agree with anyone. I'm just voicing my opinion on something which I view as having a detrimental impact on the board.

Amidst all the (fawning ??) praise and applause for Rat Boy's supposed punditry and commentary skills, in this thread, thank heavens someone has the perception and viewpoint to tell it like it is.

I find it fascinating that so many put so much stock in what any pundit has to say. I generally ignore all of this analysis bullshit. I prefer to watch football and form my own opinions rather than be spoon fed crap from Sky or MOTD or whoever. Each to their own, I suppose.

I agree aswell. All this rat boy praise is a bit fickle to me.The cunt doesn't say anything more or less than any other pundit its just that people haven't heard him often enough to start disliking him like the others.Give him a little time I think people will grow sick of him like the rest.
