Looks like Neville has finally cracked and is showing his rag colours. I was actually starting to think he was becoming a good pundit. Really let himself down.

He says 'contact' so in his mind, if you step on someones foot and go over, its a pen!! I could see it if it was the defender that steps on the attackers foot!! but how can you help it if someone steps on yours! What a load of bollox.

It was an out and out dive by a cheating bastard.

Maybe a page could be started on here where everyone posts clips that they recall happening throughout the season. Im not sure how to make such vids but I think it would be something good to show everyone at the end of the season if they win it. Or even if they dont, it would be good to show everyone how much help they got and still couldnt do it.

It's been a while for me, but if I'd have access to the footage, I could cook up something and upload it to youtube.

thought the same - his comments last night only had one purpose - to defend and deflect - the guy that works with him is just a puppet - clearly programmed to ask / say the right things in response

Jamie Redknapp in todays mail was very clever at looking like he was addressing the issue and then sliding off it without saying too much - next week it will be just buried and the population's media fuelled collective memory will be that of an exaggeration of a clear foul to bring it to the ref's attention - rather than the what a cheating cunt he is - and how that is clearly not only sanctioned but encouraged by fergiscum

Chelsea and Liverpool fans angry after FA appoint referee to officiate cup final
Chelsea Liverpool cup final

Fans of Liverpool and Chelsea have both insisted that neither team have any chance of winning this years FA Cup final after the FA appointed a referee to take charge of the game.

Both sets of fans have slammed the FA’s decision and have highlighted that appointing a referee for such a high profile game will only lead to decisions that could influence its outcome.

“Oh well, that’s that then,” said Liverpool fan Andy Hopgood.

“Referees can make decisions that might not go in our favour which could lead to us losing the game.”

“How can this possibly be considered ‘fair’?”

Chelsea fans have insisted that using referees is a conspiracy that could lead to the rules of the game being applied, resulting in free kicks being given to the opposition.

“Surely it’s better to just let the players decide amongst themselves whether a ball has crossed the line or whether there was contact in the box,” said Chelsea fan Luke Roddy.

“If they are unable to decide then maybe they could just ask the fans that are closest to the incident.”
Ref to ref game

Calls to introduce goal line technology to determine whether a ball has crossed the line have been dismissed by Chelsea fans following their controversial second goal against Tottenham on Sunday.

“I don’t think goal line technology would have helped in that incident because the goal wouldn’t have stood,” highlighted Mr Roddy.

“I think if there is an incident like that in a Chelsea game then the best way to determine whether it’s a goal or not would be to simply look at how happy or angry John Terry is.”

If the refs as a whole make a decision to start aggressively carding these "Divers", then a player will think twice about diving and is more likely to try and stay on his feet. Not sure where this would need to start, but I think FIFA should make a statement being the global body of soccer and state that its not acceptable, and encourage the leagues to crack down on these scum that are taking away from our game that we so love.

Greg Louganis cracking dive is rather bizarrely one of the top hits on the BBC Sport video links...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/olympics/17742447

And on that page is a link to Robbie Savage saying how embarrassing Drogbas diving is!

I really do hope Everton are given a pen for a blatent dive and the rags are rejected a stone wall pen on sunday then Everton go on to win the game. That would just be brilliant. You watch the fookers change their tune on things.
