Gael.
Barry did well, as did Lesco.

city were a bit nervous, all those misses in the first half...there were parts of the game where we sucked big time. lots of bad simple passes.

if we are trying to play the passing game with lots of possession then why the fuck do we let Joe keep kicking the ball and basically giving it away cos our front midgets have no chance in winning it in the air, instead of passing the ball to our defenders?

it made me scream my ass off in front of my family.

Clichy for me too. He was perfect defensively and created the opening goal with a perfectly timed and weighted pass. Outstanding

Barry also had a great game

voted nasri as he was massively improved for the third game in a row!

Clichy was excellent though (IMO, as always)! never give in, never surrender!

I would just like to add that Clichy should have been in the team of the year ahead of Baines. No brainer.

Saw the whole match on Sky and then watched the replays on Sky and MOTD. Incredible how editing and can give you a totally different perspective on the same game!

Clichy did make a few mistakes - not perfect but a pretty good game and the run followed by the pass that set up the first goal was enough for my vote!

I am still at a loss to see how anyone would conclude that Yaya was Man of the Match

Barry and Lescott were both pretty solid

The forward line were too wasteful to get my vote

Had to watch the match in London ,post marathon, without any sound and I havent had any internet since then so I havent read a thing on here till now. So no influence at all but Clichy was real quality against Wolves and an easy choice for me.

Must read the game thread when I have a chance but we weren't that good were we? Easily good enough and I wasnt really ever worried but it was far from a vintage team performance

Our finishing was diabolical Doug...it could easily have been the same scoreline that we got at Norwich but for very poor finishing..so many chances.

Apart from that there was never ever really any doubt we were going to win the match but it wasnt a great spectacle.

3 words imho: pressure back on.
looked palpable at the very beginning and almost affected the finishing as well.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

My opinion is that the players were a bit nervous and it had effected the finishing.

Of course at Norwich the 1st two goals were screamers and a bit special and it's not that often you will get goals like that to get us going. Always funnt to watch Roberto jumping about when we miss great chances
