Listening to Talksport is the equivalent of reading the Sun or the Mirror. They're all full of shit.

You really have to question the intelligence of anyone who regularly listens to that station or reads those newspapers.

That might be harsh, but it's true.

You're both bag on re knock on effect of it, it's just that so many people talk about the money generated by callers yet the maths tell you that revenue from callers would barely pay for Brazil's bacon rolls.

It is trailer trash radio. I too am surprised that Ted persists with it. He's a bright lad but he has been decrying the quality of that radio station for years yet keeps going back for more.

The work I do usually precludes me listening to a lot of music (& I don't like most of the stuff they play on the radio anyway ) plus the combination of failed pundits, knowalls & vegan, yogurt knitters on BBC 5 annoy me just as much. Plus, I like to know what the enemy is upto.

On the whole it's Talksport or no radio for me. Today I mainly opted for no radio.

no it's not!

At night talkshite can be received here in Switzerland quite clearly.

Firstly, it is crap

Secondly , Irani is crap, so too Brazil and Abrahams.

If i lived back in the UK, i'd seriously consider going into politics to get the shit in the media sorted out. From motd, to sky , to talkshite. From the garbage on tv to Alan Green on radio.

These companies aren't fit for the purpose they are supposed to be there.

I genuinely believe it is important to read and understand news and information published from many sources, but the perpetual garbage and machinery behind the daily mails 'a sports reporter' writing any old shit in one sentence , just to get search engines to get a hit on, for example 'Balo', and thereby claim some form of advertising revenue, is pretty pathetic.

57 channels and nothing on.... but at least i've searched through the channels to find out than Irani really is an arse....

now to watch the Europa league semi without the sound on !

I try to listen but the rag Irani cant talk about football without talking about the rag twats,after 10 mins the day after Chelski qualified for the final it was all about which feckin rag missed which final,rang in like a twernt and told the station he was boring and he was a reason people tuned out......I was not put on air to tell the nation my view, and as for Gough & Durham I count cars or lorries sometimes hearses just to stave off the boredom.

But you and other people aren't tuning out. You still listen to it.

So why would they change their presenters when people are listening to the station? Despite everyone moaning about it, there are quite a lot of people on here who listen to the station so they can't find it as bad as what they make out.

Talksport has a simple formula, and it works for them. It seems like the station has been like it for quite a while so there is no reason to think it's going to change anytime soon.

Unless people ACTUALLY did stop listening...
