Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

city v qpr - tickets

Postby Nigels Tackle » Fri Apr 27, 2012 12:42 pm

match has 'sold out' of 'regular' tickets but there's still match break availability through thomas cook... match break = hotel + ticket for £130/£150....only condition on these packages is that you have bought at least one ticket on your membership this season....

given crazy money tickets are being sold for for monday night's game, a touch over £100 seems like peanuts for a match when vinnie k & co will be lifting the premier league trophy...

I bought tickets for my brother and myself back in December for this game, just had a feeling it might come down to the wire, still hoping it does. It's like a visa ad, being there 'priceless'

I seriously would suggest that to anyone who is going but doesn't have a ticket yet. Yeah you'd pay £80-£100 extra compared to the face value but seriously, where are you gonna find someone who doesn't want to be there (IF there is a chance for our dreams to come true)?

Dear Mr Newton,

I had a moment under an apple tree in December and it struck me, (the tree unfortunately) as apples weren't available at the time.
I do however apologise for the salt rubbing.

Ps welcome to the best City forum planet earth has to offer, I did hear there was a better one on alpha centuri but the Internet link takes ages to connect.

I don't think they insist on you staying in the hotel. If you are as desperate as you say, it's time to dig deep.

Yeah i think that may be the better option! If you choose a single bed on the thomas cook website, the price goes up to about 200 quid. Whilst if you choose a double room, you have to pay for two people and i'm not keen on taking my missus to the game! Nothing against her, she's great, but for her, watching football is like pulling teeth on a cold day. Some woman just don't understand, and those who do are like gold dust........
