MOTM v dirty RAGS

I know it is early BUT, so far for me it has to be Zabba?

How about Men of the match instead? The starting 11 and the 2 subs, all played a critical part. Scum had nothing.

Team effort was fantastic but Zabba was the stand out for me too. Love the guy.

Zabaleta for me - 15/10 going forward and defending. Barry, Clichy, Nasri all immense. Yaya destroyed Carrick and Scholes as well. Not a bad player out there.

I would have had good reason to pick any of them. All were excellent but Barry gets it for me. Just.

For sure.

Honestly though, everyone was spectacular. Silva wasnt very apparent but that doesnt
mean he was bad. Screw wingers if our backs can play like that.

Kolarov should never get another game unless Clichy is injured or needs a rest.
Poor Zabs, had a great game but Richards will be 1st choice for most games.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

If Clichy isn't the starting LB at Euro, Blanc is absolutely "spastic".

Absolutely Zabba for me. Covered every blade of grass.

Nasri too was superb. Had to come off as he had nothing left to give, he was totally fucked.

I thought the back four performed close to perfectly. Extra credit to Clichy and Zabba for their offensive conribution and to Vinny for the goal. Also thought he did well not to become nervous and shying away from challenges after the early (ridiculous) yellow.
Yaya was very good, but as always, he didn't start to really shine until we changed formation and moved forward.
Barry was immense, in my opinion. He cleans up so well and is always just at the right place.
The front four worked their socks off, but had a hard time with scum sitting back. I thought Tevez looked a little bit unfit tonight. you could see that he missed that extra yard of pace he had last season. Nasri was very good, but should have buried his chance. Aguero played great as well, but there were quite a lot of times where I thought he could have done more with the ball.
SIlva did well as well, but I thought it was right to bring him off instead of Nasri or Kun.

Vince, Zabba, Barry and Yaya had a great match but for me Clichy was immense tonight and could have capped it with a rare goal. Bit disappointed at Kun and Tevez but have to admit the scum defended well and didn't give them any space.
