Agreed, gaz baz had his best game for city tonight. His anticipation alone won us 20% posession. Stunning performance and was glad he was recognised at the match with the sponsors motm award

Odd that, i thought his distribution was absolutely appalling, and that he had quite a poor game aside from scoring the goal.

if there was a game where the old say "THE WHOLE TEAM" has to apply that must be this game.

I saw my beloved GazBaz bossing the park at his very best, Joleon [strike]almost[/strike] perfect on duty, Vinnie defining the game with a vintage passion of rare intensity, but the less gifted - quality wise - amongst a roster of superb talents, Pablo Mad Zabba applied his cult heroism relentlessly for the whole 98 minutes. If there must be just one MotM, it has to be him: now or never, imo

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

He also showed good vision to make a couple of interceptions, one where he broke down our left (which didn't come to anything but was good to watch)

Yeah he was sharp minded today. Did give away a few too many corners for my poor heart but he mostly looked cool and calm.

Two players I possibly would have left out gave their best performances for City last night.
Gaz Baz who I would have put out to grass was imperious.
The French Duke beat Evra time and again first half.

Lescott was his usual high standard and Vincent just personifies the passion that the media say we haven't got.
I love him for that celebration alone.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

I thought Nasri was excellent last night, i think that was his best game so far in a blue shirt

However, Zabaleta was tremendous...as was Gareth Barry and Dale Clichy

And Kompany take a bow for the celebration alone

The team was brilliant. What an effort. Lescott, Kompany, Clichy, Zab. Defensively we were a wall. They couldn't get through. Our midfield dominateed most of the game. Barry, Nasri, Yaya and Silva too.

Motm, I must go with Zaba. He's been a cult hero for years now, imo. Always fighting for the club. Going forward to attack, running back to defend, putting his body on the line, getting cuts on the face. He takes the hits. Last night, another brilliant performance from him. This is an Argentine that is hard as nails.

Mancini for me. The way he handled the build up - clearly he prepared the team perfectly and he managed the substitutions right. What really swung it though was the fact that he got so utterly and completely under BF's skin in a way that almost no other Manager has ever done. The fact that so many players were in contention for MOTM reflects very well on the team and its leadership. Take a bow Roberto, a job well done......carry on!

Every player had an influence on the game at different times when we needed different people to stand up & do jobs in different areas. Silva & Nasri for instance, ran their fucking balls off. I remember Silva coming out of a 3 man tackle frenzy with the ball. Robinho would have been sat on his arse crying.

I can't pick one so I'm not going to.

The much maligned Gaz Baz. So important for us.

Looking at the posts here & having so many names on MOTM, it's a pure example how good we were last night.

I really can't remember when was the last time we couldn't decide who was the best. Great shout to every single one of them.

Zabba. But it does feel a bit wrong to single out one player after a performance like that. Well done MCFC.ok
