Our fans.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

On telly what I got through the annoying noise of the italian red biased commentary [no original commentary nor atmosphere audio option allowed for PL games] was a great passionate and restless support from the crowd.

If I humbly may tho, free of any patronizing will, I'd say that if the influence of the former "typical City disease" appears to be almost healed, I still find that the tradition and culture for sportsmanship embodied in the DNA of the Blue Fans still prevent the crowd to play the 12th man role at the utmost capability. not arguing nor complaining about, it's part of the beauty of MCFC, just wondering that, sometimes, to waive a part of noble soul may result more spurring for the Team. there is no referee totally immune from home advantage.
I am quick to acknowledge that talking from the couch is a bit rich, tho.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

A Swedish reporter who's covered the Premier League since the start said that it was the best atmosphere he's ever experienced in England.

Mike J wrote:just been watching the extended highlights (for the tenth time) and i am bursting with pride about our fans at the end. never seen an atmosphere like that at COMS.

also el diego singing 'laaaaaaaaaaaa la la la lalalalalaaaaaaaaaa city!' was very nice to see!

the last 5 minutes of those highlights (ie. post match) is pure class.

I've heard lots of people who were there say it was a cracking atmosphere...the odd lull and tension is natural but honestly, on TV here that sounded as good as I've ever heard it (a la Hamburg UEFA game)

Good win tonight but still 2 games left and thank you to the fans the best atmosphere since i'm in england we will fight until the end

If he plays like he did last night in our two remaining games that's all the thanks we need. He looked like he wanted to take the RAGs on single-handed.

I thought the atmosphere came across as very intimidating, not something that is usually associated with English football, so a big well done to all that went!

as I said, it's a rich talking from the couch, but You know what I meant too.
I love the culture of sportsmanship Britain had spread the world, nor I want the Ethiad to become a Besiktas or so, but sometimes, in very few key games of the forthcoming future it might prove to be the difference from just the pride for a nevergiveup defeat and a trip to a CL final.
again I loved the what I could get of the atmosphere and support, even more now that I experienced the original audio through the OS highlights, still You surely have watched continental games where the crowd never stop to remind ref and opponent where they are.

perhaps I am just on the wrong side of the debate, as I share the same devotion for the English atmosphere.

to be fair... not to me, mind, but when another very respectable poster is involved... it's some rich, I mean, extrapolating a line from the context. If You bother to browse back on that Rags v Scouse2 match thread, You'll realize that's a showdown of joy and, indeed a compliment to Ted for never gaving up spirit and faith into an actual fail of the filth. It was furthermore linked in unique thread of mutual vision about a point more related to football.
as per my little self, I've never been shy nor scared to open up my sentiment in a very mean and genuine manner and I feel I am in good, humorous, company here.
still, love is in the air... and I guess it'll remain rightly so until the next Community Shield, at least.

cheers.

Watched extended highlights on OS at work - the singing at the end bought tears to my eyes. Not renewed sc for years. I now work in Stoke and live in Congleton, add a heavy workload and that's why I didn't renew.

Last night I told my wife things are going to change, I might get an SC again.

Oh shite, I'm becoming a glory hunter.
