Great victory last night. We'll do it this year ... but a question to all here, which result is better for us in Chelsea v Newcastle tomorrow?

SWP was at the game yesterday cheering us on. Neddy a lifelong fan. Not sure Leslie will be so keen though...

I repeat again though that with our style of play we want teams to go into games wanting or needing a win!

We have this thing going for us called “momentum”. We had this at the back end of last season and we are again seeing it again now. The finish line is so close and we are pushing hard to get over it first.

As I said in the match thread, that Arsenal game will be in the players heads and the feelings that they got from that will be very fresh in the minds of all our lads. This surely must be motivation enough to push us to our first title in over 30 years. I cant see players like Vinny, Yaya, Joe and Nigel allow anything but two wins and high standards from everyone.

I liked how they celebrated the win last night, calm and dignified. No jumping around like loons, the lads know we have a job to do and I full expect them now that they are in the position to finish the job.
