Question about the FA Community Shield

Postby JamieMCFC » Tue May 01, 2012 1:56 pm

Is that consider winning a trophy or is a glorified friendly?

I have always considered it number 1 on the list. Therefore the FA Cup Final is really a semi-final, and the league championship is one big group stage for the main event.

Erm there is the small matter of of qualifying to play in it. Currently this season we have neither won the cup nor the league.

I think he is thinking about the rags not us Ollie. Will they be trophyless or not if we win the league?

That is where i saw him coming from too Jon.

Of course as someone else eluded to, if the rags win the charity shield then it counts, if anyone else wins it, it doesnt count. Found that out first hand from all the rags i am surrounded by last August when i took my lad.

Texts flying in at half time from the wankers giving it large about it being an exhibition match and not a real trophy, how things changed in the second half. Same cheeky cunts turning it on its head!

Lets win the prem first, then we can think about mouthing off to them or perhaps not bother and show that we arent arrogant wankers like them.

Everyone in the office today has asked me why i havent ripped the piss out of the two rags and i simply tell them we have class.
