Just a personal opinion of course but for me the contrived or rehearsed celebrations cannot compare with the spontaneous outpouring of joy that comes from scoring a goal of great personal, team or historical significance.

Some celebrations detract from the significance of the goal. (Merson on the pop, Gascoigne with the water bottle, Fowler sniffing Coke, The stupid Fucking twenty threads have you seen this Fishing Goal!)

You can easily join in with the joy that Dickov, Yaya or Kompany showed in the goals mentioned above and for me that's what celebrating a goal means!

I love that celebration, Mancini finally letting his emotions go wild. Brilliant.

Yep and Yep. First it was when Aguero scored the late winner with Villareal and he did almost the same, but at a lower stage this time, with Chelsea.

I enjoyed Micah's celebration of his equaliser at Villa. It reminded of me of a simple celebration but a good one - David Brightwell's walk into the crowd at Notts County. I suppose you had to be there.

I forgot Bob Brightwells at OT when he scored that wonder goal. That was a great moment.

SoF- as a 'keeper, have there been any celebrations for a goal that you've conceded that you've ever felt like punching someone for? Or any that you've seen on telly, that, were you the goalkeeper, you'd have been tempted?

Also, have you ever scored a goal?
