We're at Camp Three.

A nervy ascent through what was deemed an easy section earlier today. Still a long way to go, but the advance to the summit is in our own hands, but we must, must take advantage, and show some zeal and tenacity on the difficult ascent to Camp Four.

One slip now and it could all be over...we must tread carefully.

if you and i were trapped somewhere without food, or were being attacked by zombies and was bitten i would probably kill you and eat you OR shoot you in the face, respectively.

If we were trapped on a mountainside for days, and i needed to eat him to survive? i would do that in a heartbeat.
If he was bitten by a zombie and infected? i'd shoot him in the face, no problems.

Ah, I thought that if you were bitten by a zombie you'd shoot your friend in the face. Presumably to save him from having to shoot you.

We're at Camp Four....The top is in sight, but a complicated traverse awaits. This part of the assent could be long nervy and fraught with danger.

A slip now, and we could be back on our arse...complete the section, and we can reach out and almost touch the summit from where we stand.

For those making that traverse to Newcastle, may the force be with you...Roar the lads on.

And don't flick V's like Max and Kiers...Its not big or clever. ;)

We're at Camp Five. The difficult traverse has been completed, the air is thinner...the summit in view.

However the ascent is still steep, and not easy. But the mountain can be conquered if the team have enough self belief. Whilst the squad is at Camp Five, only the strongest will progress. At this stage in an effort to win the race to the top, some members may be left at the camp as the squad sacrifice favouritism for the ultimate success.

At this height, the path is treacherous...one false move and it could be all over early doors. Support from the squad regardless of location is imperitive.

We shall step forth into the unknown....Breathe in...Breathe out. A month or so ago this climb was impossible. Now we are within touching distance. Lets keep our poise, balance and belief

At the bottom of every trough is a peak to be climbed...

The summit was made secure.

There was a couple of slips on that final leg, but the elation of finding ourself at the top of the Mountain cannot really be described.

Take a minute or two, enjoy the view, breathe in and out. It's the top of the World.

You may feel a little dizzy...we haven't been up this high for so long. But remind yourself was what it was like, then turn and slowly make your way down...and take care

Come August, we'll try it all again. Some of us will be there, some will not be able to...but the City family will always be strong, and always be there #TOGETHER
