Not official Newcastle vs City thread

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

.... meanwhile, surely, the best front line of the Prem, won't be capable to despatch home a couple of braces past the dogdy QPR...

Com'on!!!??!!!
nothing against a good pathos biuld-up and a bit of typical City nostalgia, but....
let's make the job at the Geordie and it's absolutely all over. not as easy as typying, tho.

let's start and see what's the outcome tonight

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

sheblue wrote:its not over yet....... lets assume we win by one goal at newcastle...swansea look a little tired and as said a few more handy penalties for the scum and they (swansea) could get thumped 5-0. then sunderlands ex scum players go and hide on the day and hand scum 3-4 goals...the goal difference can be closed, its difficult but not at all impossible. that's why we must beat newscastle well. a massive game, must win at all costs, and remember we were bloody lucky to beat them at home earlier in the season, the scum lost there too. I

OK newcastle have to play tonight, but in many ways the game on Sunday is potentially more difficult than the one last Monday.

We all sound a bit worried on this thread. There are many ways of looking at it all. What will the rags do.. fight or fade, Swansea spent force... or react to Bob's jibes. I think the sensible line has got to be that City have the quality to make the difference. Barcodes play today and it will be a tiring game no doubt about it. Swansea have enough about them to cause the rags problems enough, but even if the rags smash them to bits, City can still ride this out.

methinks we are just going to have to sit on our hands till Sunday... beat the toon and sit back and see what happens then.

I can't help feeling we are about to fall off the cliff of expectation on Sunday

only to find surprise jet packs when we play QPR

Its funny but the players rejected by the Scum because they couldn't make the grade at the swamp but were hoovered up Elephant Man at Sunderland are expected to roll over but those who left City and ended up at QPR have got revenge on their minds and will play like men possessed?

In reality ex players may have a mixture of revenge, simply wanting to prove their ability to ex employers and some fond memories of previous clubs. It probably all depends on the circumstances of them leaving.

Either way I hope it wont matter - ex players don't come into the equation at Newcastle and I firmly believe that if we beat them at St James' then the job is done, we will slaughter QPR regardless of what result they need.

Where is your faith my fellow Citizens???

The title is as good as ours. All we need is two wins!!! After beating the rags, I'm sure Vinny and Co. believe that they can handle anyone including the barcodes Senegalese twins.

Bob's mind games will definitely play a part. If the mind games were able to make the whiskey drinking Scot chicken out and play defensive, they will definitely make either Rodgers or O'neill field a team that will play for a win. We are talking about two teams that have both nicked points off us. If they are good enough to beat us, they are good enough to at least get a draw with those filthy rags, especially when they are hurting.

I have my ticket for the 13th of May because I believe that this is our time. I hope you have yours too

Cisse just smashed one in for castle against Chelsea. Ball in chip, volley, goal.

We give him a yard in the box and he will punish us.

I'm hearing this brother i hope the lads are watching tonight and 10000% focused on the job.

I'd drop Nasri for Sunday and play Nigel,Baz and Yaya letting him go forward.

Ben area is very worrying aswell. Think we need to start de Jong in this one, it might keep him quiet.

Newcastle are restricting Chelsea to long shots if we beat these at St James then we deserve the league no doubt.
