I think as with Monday night, all we ask is that the outcome does not depend on a bad decision from the referee.

Moreso, i dont actually want decisions in our favour because i want the satisfaction of being able to look the munes in the eye and give it them mercilessly, without them having a single excuse like they have in years gone by about drogba etc

Welcome by the way, enjoy the rollercoaster

great result for us tonight imo. had they lost tonight, pressure would have been off them and that's when they play their best football. expectations at the sports direct arena will be huge on sunday. can they handle it???

I really don't see how Newcastle trashing Chelsea ahead of the game with us is a good result for us in any shape or form.

Lets be realistic, newcastle need to finish 3rd. This is a now or never game for them, make no mistake. If they dont win this one, there is every chance arsenal or Spurs will, in which case they are out of the running for 3rd and face the potential heartache of finishing 4th with no cl place at the end of it

yep. widely agree.
tho, I poorly explained my point, missing to stress that if they have started the game coming from a 2 lost string, the game would have been the very final call for their CL hopes with the additional plus of a cracked confidence.

still, while I can also agree they are a stronger side than Rags nowadays, a fully focused City won't be struggling to pass over them.

To be honest, I think just about anyone would have beat Chelsea last night. They obviuosly have their minds on others things. From what Iv seen from Cisse, if we dont give him a second to tee off a shot, we will be ok. He has a great eye for goal but I havent seen much else from him. That goal was a pure freak goal and Cech should have really saved it.After seeing that, Im sure Joe will be on his toes at all times.

Like said earlier, I think this could be a good result for us as they have a great defensive record but will now have to come at us which could leave them exposed.

i listened the game last night commentator said if every chelsea player was as committed as torres the game could have been a lot different, basically saying saving themselves for the cup final, also liverpool were the same v fulham on tues, but great goal from cisse.

Fucking man up you cunts

You are right about the crowd element - and whilst SJP is always very passionate for the barcodes the
city element will be very vocal as well - there seem to be lots of city fans in sections of the ground other than the 'away end' if the number that I personally know of is any guage

Excellent stuff from Brennan

Part 2 @ 2:30 Bell flicks the ball up Robinho style heading to his left then perfectly disguised pass straight into the path of Lee in the opposite direction. How cool in the middle of such pressure. Execution, Silva like, yet coming from a player who could give Micah a run in a sprint, out jump Dzeko, dribble like AJ, shoot better than Aguero, tackle better than DeJong & would still be running when everyone else was knackered.

Newcastle are the form team, they are playing at home, they have just beaten the possible Champions league Champions. They are desperate for those 3pts and failure to win could see them dumped into the Europa League. They and their fans are fully aware of the challenge and will be busting a gut and more to win this game.

City are a nostril ahead of the rags in the title race. We have 2 fences to jump and should we get over them, we are CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND.

City fans are shitting themselves but wasn't this what you all have dreamed about? Did any of you not consider when you were walking out of Wembley 0-2 down, versus Gillingham, that the battle to reach the very pinnacle would mean beating the very best teams in the worst of all situations...possibly with the worst of all refs too.

This is not the time to unload your bowels, this is what you dreamed of...It's time to realise that dream....This is history, these are the memories you will remember for many years. This is our time.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT
