He was injured towards the end but still went into the tackles. Couldn't understand why he wasn't taken off when he could barely hobble.
Super buy this season.

yes, he's been fantastic this season. Won't get the headlines like Aguero or Silva but always reliable.
Looks like we have solved our 'problem position'.

Thank fuck Bobby has ditched the rotation madness he insisted on for most of the season.

It's just possible that Bobby Manc's "rotation madness" earlier in the season has helped the current line up, Clichy included, by keeping them a little bit fresher for this sharp end of the season ??

There could have been some worthwhile method in this Italian madness, it's just a pity that we only had Kolarov to rotate with Clichy (completely discounting Wayne Bridge, of course), rather than someone of better overall ability.

However, it's good to see us now with a settled side in this run-in and this is currently being reflected in the quality of our play.

For everyone slating Kolorov, i really think he has been playing well especially the second haalf of the aseason.
His final balls are quality, his tackling is lathargic and poor at time as he isn't a left back, a full back maybe but certainly not a left back.
Clichy has been immense though, fantastic signing since day one.

had an interesting thought today regarding our defenders and what kind of asking prices I would have for them. for Vinnie for example, I don't think £30mil would be anywhere near enough. Class CB's are so important and so difficult to find
Now Clichy is playing incredibly well too so I don't think we could find a better one for £20m.

As much as I agree with that, we always sell at a loss so let's just let both grow old here.
