Rangers have got a lovely home shirt next year if they are still going.
Plain, big badge, small logo, very similar ethics to our white sash number, miles better than the Nike Tartan.

I'd say they're cool. Lately Umbro has been coming out with better products that look good.

A year ago id have been gutted but we took huge steps backward this season.

The 1st year back with umbro we got that cool fabric that is on the England kit and I finally had a shirt I could play in and not wear under shirts. They were so comfy and looked amazing. The black away top was so cool I bought two and the white 3rd was brilliant.

2nd year the home kit was not quite as good but still cool, navy blue was brilliant.

This season our home kit was ok, but nowhere near as comfy to play in and looked a bit like it had too much going on. The away top tho is the biggest pile of shite I've bought in years. I actually got two one for training and one to wear and I wear neither out now. They are permanently full of lint, have no give and just feel cheap.

Nike gear sucks balls. Obviously we have been upgraded to frontline of marketing but they look awfull.

P.s. I loved Le Cog Sportif.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

i'm not sure why people think we'll be getting less design focus and poorer kits. Quite the opposite of my instinct. I think we'll continue getting the best designed kits in the world from the most progressive materials.

We are the flagship club in the world as far as kits go, and that won't end with being kicked upstairs to the parent company. Daddy just wants some sugar, and City will oblige, but also won't stand for anything of an inferior nature.

Not sure what people are thinking who believe otherwise....

i do believe it's got to be bittersweet from an English perspective with the Umbro history/brand story, but my guess is there will still be a Nike team based in England doing design work and i'd be surprised if the top folks from Umbro who've done City for the last few years won't get shifted to Nike with the account change.

cheers

If the designs stay similar, its the same people and the only differences is the nike swoosh and the club getting more coin then i'd be fine with this. We may even become more integrated to Nike's branding, the way we associate Nike with Tiger Woods, the Brazil team etc.

That Le Cock Eidos laser blue shirt with the white sleeves was possibly the worst kit we have ever had..first it looked wank..second..after one wash it unravelled in front of your eyes..

That really is a stunning Rangers top. The best I can remember. It will look fantastic in all those rickety old 1970's type grounds that are in the Scottish third division next season.
