FA Cup final thread

Postby CTID Hants » Sat May 05, 2012 12:58 pm

Couldn't see one anywhere?

So the cup will have left us (for now), so who do you want to win?

For one day only I will be wanting a red team to win, not overly fussed either way but a Scouse win would sit better with me.

Oh and what a fookin stupid time to kick off!!! Does anyone know why they have decided to fuck around and move it from 3pm?

Surely the old bill won't be happy, more time for the fans to get pissed?

Apparently the FA's market research reckoned it was the time the fans would prefer. Not sure what time it will be in the big markets around the world, but suspect that has more to do with it than what anyone in England thinks.

I was ambivalent this morning, but after a stream of scousers on the radio saying how good a season they'll have had and how next year they will be challenging for the title again, I'm going to stick with supporting a team in blue.

I've hated the way the Dippers, to dismiss criticism of their league form, are speaking like they've won two trophies.

Hope they get turned over, hope Torres scores the winner, & hope the Scouse get a trip to Amkar Perm this summer for their Europa qualifiers.

Yeah, guess the money from other countries will pay a part more than the fans here in England, sign of the times I guess!

I am surrounded by chelski fans down here, can't be doing with their self gratification afterward.

Plus my best mate is a scouser, but a bloody great bloke, my brother in law is a total tosser and chelski to boot.

Great game. I heard Arsenal go one up so I put it on just to see if a team who had no option but to attack Arsenal would once again rip them to pieces. Sure enough Norwich did. Then having battered them they decided to try & keep it tight 2nd half thus Arsenal battered them instead. Then they needed a goal & thus ran through Arsenal like a dose of salts & duly scored. Then they tried to hang on & got battered again but got away with it.

Next time we play at the Emirates, they should send Bob on holiday for the day put Kiddo in charge & just let us attack them & see what happens.

Arsenal-Norwich was a great game. Despite letting in three, Ruddy was brilliant - will probably go to the Euros behind Hart now.

The FA cup final's on too late for Australia, which is a shame. Sheffield Wednesday just about to be promoted, too, which makes me happy.

We would benefit if Szczesny had a blunder, arsenal were denied a clear penalty, and RVP missed quite a few chances. Have to say that Norwich were acting like a bunch of cunts (especially holt trying to start stuff w/ song), but great game though

My big worry about the cup final is whether whoever wins it puts dents or scratched on it. It just makes it all the harder for our cleaners when it is returned to us next year.

Whoever wins it is only gonna be papering over the cracks of a shit season.

Why are we still having tributes to Fabrice Muamba ?

I was all for it when he was at death's door but he's better now, so shouldn't he just be back to being ' not very good ' again ?

I don't care for either club but from my experience Chelsea fans are some of the most irritating cunts on the planet. Plus I want King Kenny to be rewarded with a new deal so he can keep the scousers shit.

Bindipperpool for me, please.

Would you rather have Aguero, or Henderson AND Downing because apparently they had the same market value last summer?!
