I have wondered the same either today and at the derby, ffs.
only coaching staff know if Tevez's legs can last 95 minutes, but.... it much more seems a test for Carlos capability to retain his cool and respect the picking hierarchy... odd.
it's all good, today, though.

NOW... let seat along the river, look at whether Mancini has succeded to wind the Swans up enough. failing that I'll be fine to acknowledge that the Rags won't score 10+1, as only a very supersticious Typical Citizen might expect them to increase their goal difference at Sunderland while we will be playing the Rangers shite.

Look at the munichs in the swamp feeling sorry for themselves, nothing to worry about surely. They have all that experience to call on and stuff. Surely they will still win the league.

I hope Mancini still calls them favourites and I hope when he is asked after the QPR game how it feels to be champions he replies "united are still favourites".

hahaha I said the same thing to my mrs...go on Bob..wind up the drunken decrepid tramp.

QPR will play for a point but we're miles better than them. It's up to Mancini to avoid complacency which I'm sure he will.

I could not sit and watch the last 15 minutes after Yaya's first goal, so when my daughter called asking me to pick her up, I said yes, on my way.
By the time I got to the car she texted me that Yaya scored another. Just as well as I don"t know how I would have driven the car not knowing we were safe.
Now back home and will watch what I missed with the luxury of knowing we are almost there (title that is !!) !
Happy days ahead.
Yaya you beauty. Had a feeling he would be the man today and he didn't disappoint. He is our big matches man.

I can see that shower of shit dropping points in at least one of thier last two matches so I don't think it will matter. For the record, I think we will beat the Superhoops convincingly.

eees normal

well, if we lose we ...lose the title most likely, so...Mancini has said and done all the right stuff in the build up.

this would be the biggest deficit erased in the history of the Prem (tho i can't say that's actually a first division stat -- i'm sure John knows...he has it all written down in olde english in some notebook somewhere) if we can maintain and pull it off.

one hand on the trophy, the other hand plugging my butthole because i think i might be leaking.

United from 12 points back on Newcastle in '95/96? That was with half the season to go though - might have missed your meaning.

i believe the stat is something like "this many points this late in the season"...

in other words no team has come back from a 5 pt gap with 3 to play or better yet when i heard the stat it was an 8 pt gap with 5 to play (was that it? fuck me i'm confused)

make more sense tho?

cheers

Another solid performance by the lads today. I really liked the workrate of the entire side. Defensively we were really solid.

Don't count any chickens yet lads. Next week is another mountain to climb. That first goal is going to be so so crucial.

Love this quote from Mancini.

" "If we win at Newcastle we will win the title," Mancini said. "Sir Alex said that, so it must be right. He has far more experience than me."
