I don't think there are any hidden agendas whether they concern Mario, Dzeko, Micah, Johnson or Kolorov. I don't see it as complicated, political, personal or emotional. Just Mancini using some sound common sense regarding his starting 11, how he sees a game possibly developing and what his best options are to win each game.

Mancini is totally focussed on the League and that is his only target. He knows what he has to do, what he has to work with and how to do it. Any platyer not in the picture will be aware of why. It may be temporary, only until the season's end but he has got a successful strategy and is not being distracted.

come on guys, he's got to go we have been so solid without him and he has become a sideshow. i like watching him on his day but i think two seasons is more than enough time for someone to mature and realise what the hell they want to do with their careers. regardless of all that he is now a press magnet (and thats his own making) and even if he largely matures it wont take much for them to sensationalise the tiniest little thing. get rid and bring in a young player with desire to be the best, even if they haven't got as much natural talent as mario appears to have wasted.

The United, Toon, and QPR games were/are too important. Mancini doesnt trust him to not get sent off
so he hasnt played him.

Folk hero yes, but can't be trusted. If you crossed Danny Tiatto and Ali Bernabia you'd end up with something close to Mario in terms of skill v. temprament. His bonkers behaviour and sublime skill are something else to behold and in days gone by he would have been a City legend, sadly no matter the talent his unpredictability on and off the pitch means he will be on his way in the summer. I hope he knuckles down because I think he is one the greatest footballing characters in recent years and he won't find a manager as understanding as Mancini anywhere else, sadly this league is not made for characters no matter how talented.

Maybe the summer will see him go in a swap deal for Cavani or Hamsik as he seems to revel in the gangster vibe.

I'll miss the magic but not the madness.

True statement, but I think he is way more an idiot nutter than an eccentric. Most of the stories were all rumors about him....Ive seen enough to know that although he could be a top player in the world....he will never be.

Mario is a litle kid in an adults body, gifted yes but sadly will never reach full potential. I fear he had to much to soon, I don't think he can handle the fame. He really needs some sort of mentor around him to point him in the right direction, both on and off the pitch.I have a feeling he will be off in the summer, sad really because I do like him.

Balo would suit "typical City" but not a club that wants to win stuff and be taken seriously. If he can't be trusted for crucial matches (correct decision, Robert). Will he learn

If we're to keep him, we need him to perform next season.

Sooner or later he will want to go back to Italy so there's no point in us nurturing him just so he can fuck off to AC Milan when his contract runs out. We either trust him to be a fully valued member of the squad next season or sell him imo, not something inbetween.

That's precisely what I've been thinking for a while now. I think it's pretty obvious he wants to go back to Italy at some stage. Not only because he misses the country but to prove all those racist dicks who gave him shit wrong.

He is amazing talent really and I'd give him another season but he really needs to make it worthwhile on the pitch CONSISTENTLY.

I love the guy but I think we need to overhaul our strike force next season
lose Mario and Dzeko, bring in guidetti to the senior squad and look at bringing in another striker like cavani

There are not many times over the years I've disagreed with you over football but I don't like that idea. I think Guidetti should get chance as fourth striker but with Tevez offski I don't think we should rely Aguero being the only striker in team who was here season before. I don't even like the idea of Cavani. Something tells me that he'd flop. I mean he is fantastic in slow paced Serie A and works will in small space but our football is about pace and controlling the ball.

Think this thread isint wright to Mario yes hes nuts yes he did few times very stupid things ( but not some shit that Tevez pull do ) yes he maybe need to go , but shurly hes one of the guys responsible for us be where we are and i hate to see if hes going somwhere with this comments ,but after all resons u said why u think he shuld leave u shuld thenks the guy for where we are becose .Him , Aguero ,Edin , and now back from golfing Tevez they score score massive ammaunt of goals and assist for time they been given ,i think those first 3 deserve more thenks then the last one so if we going to be Champions send em off like Champions.I personely think he will stay , Bob just love him to much he show that few times and no way that big club will pay big money with player with that problem no mather the talent , So i think Edin is going its more easy to take money for him... anyway thank u Mario thank u for Old traford dreem 1 6 and much more...

I believe that tevez is going to stay otherwise I would tend to agree - I seem to recall cavani did ok against us & chelsea in the champs league
I still think we've got work to do in our striking dept and I don't fee Dzeko and Balla are the answers for 2 very different reasons

Any striker you sign is a gamble to a certain extent. We have two top quality players in Dzeko & Balotelli but it could be argued that Ba & Cisse would have been better signings ( not imo ). There's no way of knowing that until the blokes pull on the shirt though.

Cavani could score 40 goals or miss everything & be a waste of space. The only time we'd find out is when he's played a season. The Premier League needs a particular type of person imo. Both Dzeko & Mario could succeed if they really put everything into it thouigh, I'm convinced of that. I'm totally unconvinced they will do it though.

That's the sad bit. I think we bought two really talented strikers who are more than capable of doing it in regular basis in England yet while both have made good contributions this season they still leave lot to be desired for.
