Whats the deal then, will it be at the Etihad or what? I'm probably wrong but for some reason I remember somthing about there being a replica also which can be elsewhere incase the other team win it?
Anyway whats the official plan?

They probably give a snide one to the outsider, one made out of cornflake boxes and tinfoil or something just in case they need one. Either that or they just have one spare cup at all times that they can just use the next season if need be.

I thought it sits in a helicopter between the two relevant grounds.

Helicopter in Leeds, takes off for wherever the most likely winner is. It should arrive over the Etihad about 4 p.m. on Sunday. They did that with the cricket Sunday league trophy some years back.

Is that actually true? That's miles cooler and more dramatic than what I believed to be the truth.

They do the helicopter thing in Scotland but I thought here we just have a replica and so there can be a trophy raised regardless

Doomy's fantasy is indeed broken. They have two trophies. one goes to the winning club and the other is used for promotional work. Shall I tell doomy about santa or will someone else?
