Has a bit of a dig about warehousing talent. and he was on the radio last night praising Venky's so I wouldn't necessarily believe what he says

I dont think he believes in FFP. I think it really WILL stop people investing and could be the end of the likes of Everton and Villa, to name but 2.

I also believe we have, and are commonly perceived as having 'warehoused talent'. Although this was not deliberate, because the 'talent' that Hughes bought either didn't fit in with Mancini, or served a purpose getting us to a level. Then we had the impossible task of getting rid of them. It will happen, but takes time.

I beleive the new CEO and John Williams and/or Brian Marwood, whoever is dealing with these things, has got to be really smart and ruthless this summer in getting rid of dozens of players at all levels, that we simply dont need or want.

'warehousing talent' - yes caused in part by changing managers. Wasn't it Joe Royle who couldn't believe how many players we had on our books when he took over during the revolving-door years? Nobody said we were 'warehousing talent' back then.

Who is this talent that we are warehousing, other than those we have tried to but couldn't sell?
