John O'Shea disappointed with Roberto Mancini

Postby JamieMCFC » Thu May 10, 2012 4:18 pm

Sunderland defender John O'Shea feels it is "disappointing" that Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini has resorted to belittling certain teams in the Premier League.

Ahead of the title run in, Mancini labelled rivals Manchester United's remaining matches against Swansea City and Sunderland as "easy" in comparison to his side's game against Newcastle and QPR.

Black Cats boss Martin O'Neill has hit back at the Italian's suggestions, and now O'Shea has echoed his manager, pointing to his team's impressive showings against City this season, having drawn away and defeated them at home.

He told the Guardian: "Believe me, the two times City have played against us this season, they knew it wasn't an easy game. We've taken four points off them, and it should have been six if we think about the game at their place [a 3-3 draw in which Sunderland led 3-1].

"I think he (Mancini) is starting to enjoy his psychological games but, as the gaffer said, to call the integrity of the Premier League into question is disappointing. He's going for the title and he's going to try certain things. But he doesn't need to do that."

Former United player O'Shea also admitted to his surprise at the champions' collapse in the defence of their title, after they recently boasted an eight-point lead over City, who now lead the way on goal difference.

He said: "You would have expected, with all their experience, they would have managed to keep that advantage so close to the end of the season."

Ahm, so it will be 0-2 in the first 20 minutes like it was with Swansea?

The thick fudge-packing cunt doesn't even realise the irony of what he is saying.

So, either Sunderland go and beat United (in which case job done Mancini), or Mancini was right all along

He still managed to get the 'experience' line in.

They certainly program them well at the swamp. Unfortunately though, they are all going to need brand new software to cope with the future.

How about the 2 you shouldn't have had from the first game? Dozy rag c*nt.

As Ted has pointed out, the 'experience' line was managed to be squeezed in.

Bit tedious isn't it, all these rag rejects being wheeled out to spout on about the scums experience and know how, etc, etc, ad infinitum.

It's all quite predictable how they have the rejects coming out now that the players are not talking at the minute since they have been embarrassed by us

I have no problem with john oshea. He doesn't say much when I hang out with him. But then again, his mouth is usually full.

at the start of the season the observer (only 1 team is allowed 1) must have been very happy with the fixtures throwing up a newly promoted team for the last home game (again) and Sunderland for the final game - led by Bruce and with many of their 'c' team in the line up (but feeling good because they have been transferred to the retirement home on good wages) .

Perhaps it might be more of a challebge now? - but O'Shea would be better putting in a shift against the scum and then speaking rather than come out with this hollow shit now - yes they have played well against Man City - does that not just prove the point (or was that the 'own goal' winner that did that) - lets see how much they go at them before we think that Mancini is incorrect

The fact that they took 4 points off us is irrelevant. What makes it 'easy' is that they are mid-table with little to play for.
QPR have more to lose.
This is the same rubbish that Garry Monk came out with for Swansea the week before. Do they come out with this all by themselves
or do they get baited by the press looking for something to fill the void before Sunday?
