3 match ban for Tevez incident. Should be another 3 for knee on Aguero and another 3 for headbutting Kompany. Plus the extra games for the additional reds. Plus more for bringing the game into disrepute with his twitter comments.

The FA have to do something, otherwise any player who gets sent off may as well try and break an opponents leg, if they decide there's no further punishment.

Looks to be a minimum of 10: 4 for the red and 3 for each of his actions vs. Aguero and Vinnie.

This guy is despicable:
Barton tweeted on Sunday night: "Can do nothing but apologise to the players and fans.
"Still don't think it is a sending off.
"Still not my proudest moment but who gives a fuck. We are safe.
"The head was never gone at any stage. Once I'd been sent off, one of our players suggested I should try to take 1 of theirs with me. Never worked but god loves a trier."
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Each one worse than the previous one. That last one is incredible, how can he escape a serious misconduct charge for that one alone.

There's a vile and repulsive sickness in the very essence of Barton's soul......some unkind (??) individuals might say it's because he's a Scouser and because of his upbringing, but it seemingly transcends that. He doesn't deserve to ever be allowed on a football pitch again.

I hesitate to suggest it but, perhaps, QPR ought to be also deducted points both for his on-field antics and his after match comments on Twitter, in which he shows a complete absence of remorse and regret for his actions, only seeking to justify them by the fact that QPR avoided relegation.

Can't believe he ever played for City, as there's not a shred of decency in him.

I don't think you can blame QPR, Hughes didn't even sign him. Who's prepared for that?

At the end of the day, the Club must accept some responsibility for his actions both on and off the field. They pay his wages and Spews made the decision to play him.

At the very least, QPR have to initiate their own disciplinary processes against him, in tandem with any action the FA might take; if they don't, then they are just as culpable as the miscreant himself and just ponder what would have happened if Barton had been wearing a City shirt whilst all this was taking place.

The football world would have thrown the book at us, no doubt and received universal support for doing so.

Yet we never got docked points and it certainly won't happen now to bring Bolton up.

The dramatic finish has taken all the headlines, Barton is an afterstory and the Euros are coming soon, he might only get 3 matches simply by default. He'll probably get something for failing to leave the pitch.
