i turned the tv off twice. First when the second goal for QPR went in, i went outside for a draw of my brain food so i could calm down. Came back in turned back on the tv . watched for another 3 minutes and started to curse frantically so i turned the tv off again so i wouldnt break the focker. Went back outside and sat on a rock and started laughing hysterically. I went back in and thought about turning it back on but i knew i would definitely break it if i did so i didnt. so sitting there with my head down looking at the floor my phone starts to go off text pouring from rag fans saying congrats...im like squeezing the phone grinding my teeth saying fuckoff you rag fockers then my phone rings i look at the number its my cousin from next door this guy is no fan of sports so i answer. he goes "hey man um im looking at the tv and i see you won"...i say shut the fock up why you fockin wid me man "no man serious they said the team um united right and now they are saying Ci...click i hang the phone up fuck my leg up running to the tv and rewind the DVR. the rest is....one word UNBELIEVABLE cant stop saying it

Got to Piccadilly on the phone to my mate who's a Rovers fan. 'They can fuck off! Getting my money next year for a season ticket again!!! They can fuck right off! This is it! After 15+ years as a season ticket holder I'm done.....' Then he started screaming we'd just scored a 3rd I put the phone down and ran all the way back to the stadium! Got to the stadium dripping and absolutely fucked!! Walked to the turnstile showing my ticket and I'd. Copper gripped me and dragged me away shouting 'do one or I'll put you in the back of a van!' Tried talking to him reasonably but he wasn't having any of it. Proper not look you in the eye just shout at the top of his voice power trip copper. Shook his hand and told him I think they're doing a brilliant job.
Walked to the next turnstile and there was a meat head trying to climb the gate. Two stewards were occupied by him so I legged it up the gate and hopped over the barrier of the second bend of the walk way. Didn't stop running until I got back to my seat!
Hugged my brother and was just in time to see us lift the cup!!

So even after Gillingham you left early and missed it? Sweet.

I switched the telly off after they scored their second, then I was back in front of it five minutes later having vented off some of the frustration.

I honestly don't think I've left a game early ever. Maybe a couple of times if we were being obliterated four nowt or summat, I maybe have allowed myself a sneaky early sneak-off, but not missing any more than a minute or two.

But where there' is life there's gotta be hope. And where there's a will there's a way.

This is City. Come on, you know what we're like; the extremes we're capable of. I can never understand the leaving early thing. Not being gerard houlier than thou, or that I'm a better fan, but I just can't understand it. Particularly when we're still in a position where victory is not impossible.

Some people leave early every single game no matter what. If you're one of these people, I find you particularly odd.

I think anyone who leaves early and in despair should go to the OS and listen to our chairman. That guy is pure class.

Class? You having a laugh DH? Firstly; no tie. He's supposed to be representing us for God's sake. Secondly, not one, but TWO buttons undone on his shirt. Does he not know this is on the telly? THirdly: does the guy not own a razor? Embarrasing.

ANd most importantly, on the question of muffin or bap - if he'd have said 'obviously barmcake', I would have forgiven the other sins.

On a more serious note, it really is a bit surreal, to watch him talk. The faith he instills. The urbane manner in which he delivers it. The level of intelligence he conveys. It just makes you have complete faith that our beloved club is in the safest possible hands. Our benevolent arab brethren have made such a positive impact on Manchester, on my own life, and the lives of every blue I know, and every blue I've yet to meet - I have not the words to express my thanks and admiration for what these guys are doing.

HH Sheikh Mansour is a geezer, and anyone of him and crew can pop round to mine for tea anytime. See? Just doesn't cut it.

Edit: Khaldoon is 'even a little bit sexy as well' according to my girlfriend. A little bit? Come off it. I appreciate her playing this down thuogh.

Didn't leave as I was in complete and utter shock. Never felt anything like it and never felt anything like it when Kun scored that goal.

I was watching the whole game with my youngest son at home here in the US&A.

After Barton got his marching orders, I was thinking, "brilliant, against 10 men with 30 mins to go - we'll walk this". When their second went in, I walked outside, shouted a lot (out of earshot of the boy), smoked a cig then back in for the most tortuous 30 mins of my life. My son started shouting and crying, throwing his stuff about - I said to him, remember against Sunderland? Remember against Chelsea? Remember against Spurs? We can do this, it's City, we can do it...

These words felt hollow as the second half went on, but when Dzeko's header went in, I knew we'd do it. I'm not sure who was more like a kid, me or my kid! We were dancing, hugging and crying wishing we were with you all at COMS. Seeing the pictures of the rags at Sunderland was the icing on the perfect cake!

Leave? I hid behind my hands and the sofa for a bit if that counts?!

Watched the match in Austin, Texas. About ten of us City fans went absolutely crazy with that third by KUN. Unbelievable! In a bar throbbing of QPR and United fans we sang till all are voices were spent. Suppose most the bar didn't appreciate our jubilant chants considering we near tore the roof off. (we were the noisier bunch the entire match with the taunts we got from the United and QPR fans.

I pictured you and kinda in some biblical embrace. I bet it was overwhelming. Watching it on tv was overwhelming so being in 110 must have been just mind blowing.

How happy am I? It's really barely started to sink in.

didnt think about turning off my TV at all
that wouldnt help us one bit anyway so I wanted to watch how it would all unfold

I just kept hoping
I also kept thinking 'we did it against sunderland, we did it against sunderland'
just didnt think any team could score 2 goals in the dying minutes of a game 2 times in 1 season

well, we can, we are City
