i was just going to ask why is it at villa park but it will be the shitting olympics wont it.

villa park holds 42,000 so minus coporate's we are looking at maybe 17,000 tickets if w are lucky minus city's take about 14,000. Not even half our seasoncard holders. Shame because it being much closer to manchester may have done alot of blues a favour.

Because of so many grounds being used for the Olympics this year, the choice of venue for the Community Shield was limited. It couldn't be:

Wembley
The Swamp
Millennium Stadium
St James' Park

because of it.

I kept thinking why the FA don't use the Emirates Stadium as that holds 60,000?

The charity shield should be held at the league winners ground.
