This is excellent news, it means they wont be signing another centre mid. Scholes can't last 90 mins let alone a full season.

Giggs will fade away too.

The rags must have bought too much embalming fluid and need to use it up.

Wasn't sure where to post this but...

Anyone seen the comments coming from the United dinner?

Ferguson unhappy City won title after United game finished: "It's something the Premier League should look into" HOW???

Ominous message from Ferguson at United dinner: "Those Sunderland fans who cheered for City ... we won't forget that" Really Fergie?

Ferguson: "We aren't like other clubs that can spend fortunes ... City will spend fortunes, stupid money & pay silly salaries" No need to comment.

MUFC chief Gill on MCFC: "We'll see what's happening with the financial fair play & how that's implemented & what the sanctions are "

No class what so ever. Even on a night where it was all about them they can't help themselves but talk about how we've bought the title, blah, blah, blah.

Funniest thing is that all games should finish at the same time. How could that possibly happen? Is he suggesting we do away with Fergie time?

Mancini really has affected him this season. Brilliant.

Is this fucking real?!

What a bitter, desperate, pathetic club, with a bewildered, angry, sad little man of a figurehead.

The iron thrones are falling.

Balo was right. It was better to win it this way, because it inflicted more suffering on "them."

The cauliflower-nosed prat has already come out and said it will take us another 100 years to match their "history." More sad, desperate platitudes, obviously, but cowardice too, as he won't be alive to face the humiliation of seeing their trophy haul eclipsed in only half that time.

hahaha!

Fergie is going ballistic as the rags rattle in despair: City are gonna play Hazard and they can only seek for... well, Shinji Kagawa!
I can already sense someone, like CityGer, would like to read arrogance in this post, while it's just a joyful acknowledgemt of the Evil Empire fall.

I've been particularly amused at reading these Taggart's quotes:
"We know City are going to spend fortunes, pay stupid money and silly salaries. We know that happens. We can't do anything about that.
"We are not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We invest in players who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club and the excitement for our fans.
"But we need to move on. Financial Fair Play is just around the corner.
"It is a flagship programme for Michel Platini and how that is implemented and the sanctions that are imposed are going to be interesting."
He is so desperately seeking for the lifebelt promised by Monsieur Platini & Herr KH Rummenigge!!!.... priceless

Sorry Goat Boy but that will be true Mate....a mid table battle for 11th place.
Our derby next year will probably be at Carrington when the 1st team play the reserves.

it's late nite and I missed that the bitter quotes from the Drunk Drake were already covered.
I apologize for doubling it. I was so driven to highlight my disdain to what I read that I went straight to the forum posting before browsing
