"That good" means "boyhood Rag supporter." OP is reserving judgment until confirmed.

Plenty of info in [urlnp=http://www.mancityfans.net/mcfnet/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=41732&hilit=guidetti]THIS[/urlnp] thread, but then I suspect that that's not what you're really after

Fat Wayne Rooney if you want to get nasty about it. But surely he has shown enough to be give a season in the first team squad.

If Guidetti is lazy & selfish, then God knows what Ronald K would make of our current strikers.

Forget all current strikers, and let him deal with the Tevez saga.

Guidetti misses the Euros. The Swedish medical team has just ruled him out due to the injury that's kept him from playing with Feyenord the last few weeks. Too bad, could have been interesting to see what he could've done.

Guidetti's not lazy. Anything but actually. I just don't think he is humble enough to sit on our bench and waait for his chance.

Besides, despite what supporters might think, I seriously doubt either Dzeko or Balotelli would be off. I think Mancini are training them both and wants to reap the benefits in the end (whether there'll be any is up for discussion of course).
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Realistically all four strikers played a part in the last few weeks and jayko and balo basically fucking won us the league with their persistence.

I wouldn't sell any of the 4. Best strike force in Europe over the year and of we can find some consistency we will devour the world with the four of them.

Guidetti can come and watch and train and fight for a place. That's what he should do if he's hungry.

Cheers

Agree with both of you....and a few others in the Mario thread.

Unless Dzeko, Tevez or Mario angle for a move I really don't think we will either try to actively sell any of them or recruit replacements.

Guidetti I would ideally like to loan out for another year but if he is saying either give me a first team squad place proper or sell me then it is obvious that it will be the latter option

It's also that giving that chance to Guidetti would mean that we'd have to sell or sit one of the current strikers on the bench. Don't get me wrong, I am very impressed with Guidetti's tally in Netherlands but truth is, it's just such a massive step up to Premier League. While I do agree that there's loads of room for improvement on Mario's behaviour and Dzeko's first touch, they both managed to score more than goal in every other game. That kind of tally is nothing like given no matter how promising you are. And goals is what you expect from strikers in club like ours.

If one of our strikers goes (I'm not sure they will now) then he can come in as number 4.

I understand Bolton want to loan him next season which would be ideal.

I'm not sure it is ideal - I think he needs a year in the Prem, and if he can't have that then a year in the Bundesliga.

I'd go with this, too. Maybe Schalke or Leverkusen, if we can't get someone like Swansea interested.
