Well I havent posted much since the epic end to the season, time just hasn't allowed it.
For me as a 33 year old life long City fan from worcestershire, I never made more than a handfull of home games each season when growing up. The cost to do so for my parents was simply to much, we did manage to make a few away games each year too. This made it feel very special for us as it really was a treat, and of course each time the hairs on the back of my neck would be on end. Then as you grow up and start to get money for yourself, I could make a few more games. Then came along the new ground and along with it a new sence of expectations, maybe more so from other fans and pundits then us as deep down we will always be typical City.
Its taken a few years for us to feel like we should be there I feel, and with all the ups and downs we have had other things to think about. Now we have a new feel in allways, finaly the home seems to fit better. Bigger games, bigger expectations, bigger belief and so only right we have the bigger stadium.
The new management and amazing backers have finaly turned the home of City into a place every team knows will be a battle, and so the fans can now let go and make sure the away fans can hear that too. I hope we can build on this and try to get a better and more frequent atmosphere.
