I'm sure Mancini's SOLE reason for picking or not picking players for individual games is based purely on what combination of players will work. He is a professional manager of a professional football club. I don't think he particularily loves any of his players. He is just here to win.

Winning a title with 3-2 was pure luck. And world class managers dont rely on luck. They dont get themselves in that unpleasant position.
