I made a shout for Seedorf earlier this season when he was awesome for Milan.

Real Rolls Royce, Vieira type. Could be massive for us in the Champions League, away games especially.

Better to have him in the squad than Hargreaves. If De-jong was to leave i'd say we really go for him. Although I'd rather keep De-Jong and not go for Clarence.

I'm not actually entirely sure Mancini wanted Heargreaves. I honestly think Mancini wanted De Rossi but couldn't get funds (which was reported at the time) and they just ended up signing Heargreaves as back up of a back up of a backup. And in the end they didn't think he was suited to even that role hence Pizarro.

I think your right about this Niall. After splashing the cash on Aguero (first choice striker), and Nasri (second choice attacking midfeild after Sanchez), and not being able to move on Adebayor or Tevez, there just wasnt the funds with one eye on FFP to spend on a De Rossi last summer.

Hargreaves was a cheaper option for the role and had it paid off it would have looked a masterstroke. Sadly he turned out just to be Michale Owen 2.

Both he and Pizarro will be gone in the summer. I'd like to see us spend good money on someone like M'vila who Arsenel are tracking. A talented younger player.
