i don't want him to die. we need a good 4-5 years of struggle/strife where we kick the stuffing out of them so that this end phase of his career is defined by the rise of City.

Way way way more painful that stroking out at some charity event.

Besides, who really wants to wish an old man they've never met dead? Seriously. Oh, that's right...Ashton. Carry on.

Amazing that Taggarts bloody nose still makes the headlines. This has nothing to do with City however I wish the OAP a speedy recovery. He is afterall someones Grandad.

God, the thought of his grandkids; all throwing themselves off chairs, chucking themselves down the stairs, rolling around on the floor crying pretending they've been abused if they don't get the Christmas presents they asked for.

Maybe he was rushing to the toilet - like his court case - and banged his nose on the way? :-)

I think it would only be fair that we kick him (metaphorically) around the floor for a couple of years in the manner of a drunken bum. Maybe allowing him to raise himself up on one arm once in a while at the start of a season before kicking that arm from under him before he finally cracks and dies. Then at least we could truly, beyond any reasonable doubt be accused of being murderers as well as having fucked up football good and proper.

Might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb

They shout and scream at their schoolteachers if any of the other kids in class get higher marks, & tell the headmaster they should be replaced.

Perhaps his nose is like the esteemed leaders nose in that woody allen film "sleeper"...scum may be planning to clone another manager from said nose. Just a thought. could explain the panic at time of nose bleed...maybe the cloning has already started?...you read it here first, unless youve seen the film recently and thought the same thing.

I think I'll probably clap through the minute's silence.

A minutes unpleasant badgering would be more apt, as a proper sign of respect.

This wasen''t caught on video, but in the derby, when Bob and Taggart had that conflict, while the cameras from Sky were away, Bobby performed a kamehameha on Fergie, so now we see the aftermath of that hit.

Can't have many seasons left in the game. Presumably the Mourinho situation must come to a head at the end of next season if he's to go to the rags ?

Either way, next season could easily be the last for old blotch head.

Let's hope we can make it his most miserable one ever.
