Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has brushed aside fresh rumours he will leave the Etihad Stadium this summer.
A number of reports in Italy claim Balotelli could be included as part of a swap deal that would see AC Milan defender Thiago Silva join the Blues.
However, Balotelli has moved to quash those suggestions by insisting he will stay with the newly-crowned Premier League champions.
“I play at Manchester City,” declared Balotelli. “I am happy at City and I will remain there.”
Balotelli joined City from Inter Milan in August 2010 and is under contract with the Blues outfit until June 2015.
And the 21-year-old, a self-confessed AC Milan fan, insists there is no truth in reports linking him with a move to the San Siro outfit.
“I don’t know anything,” he said. “I haven’t had any contact with them (AC Milan) in the past few years.”
However, Balotelli would welcome the arrival of Brazil international Silva
“If Thiago Silva was to arrive to City then for sure we would be stronger,” he said.
Balotelli, who came off the bench to set up Sergio Aguero’s last-gasp winner against QPR to clinch the Premier League title, also believes his best is yet to come.
“This year we were the strongest team and we deserved to win,” the striker added. “As for my season, I give myself a pass mark.
“I am young and it is normal that I make mistakes.
“But with regards to the psychological aspect, I don’t pay attention because I am fed up with what everyone says.
“I just have to improve tactically, mature and score always.
“In England they tend to exaggerate regarding what I do off the pitch.
“But those that love me know what I am really like.
“I’m just sorry for my mother because certain (media) stories might upset her.” Balotelli (below) is currently training in Coverciano with Italy’s national team in preparation for Euro 2012.
He was included in Cesare Prandelli’s preliminary squad despite reports earlier this year claiming he could be left out following his off-the-field antics throughout this season.
“I never thought I would lose my place in the national team,” he said. “I have always been in contact with the national coach.
“This tournament could be the opportunity of my life.
“But I don’t feel an added responsibility.
“Prandelli just like (City coach Roberto) Mancini has given me a lot of confidence and waited for me and I cannot wait to repay that trust.
“I don’t think that I will ever leave him down to 10 men. I want to be a winner and give the fans joy.”
MARIO BALOTELLI IN BALCONY BID TO CHARM HIS EX
LOVE-RAT football star Mario Balotelli acted out his own version of Romeo and Juliet by pelting his ex’s balcony with stones.
When sexy Raffaella Fico refused to answer the door, the player flicked pebbles at her window to try to wake her.
But unlike the hero in Shakespeare’s classic play, the Manchester City failed to woo his love.
However, he did wind up the neighbours – who called the police.
Residents living near 23-year-old Raffaelle saw Balotelli pull up outside the Milan apartment in his flash Ferrari.
And after ringing the doorbell dozens of times and getting no answer, the 21-year-old began chucking the stones to get the babe’s attention.
A source said: “The neighbours called police as they were worried it was some sort of break-in. But it was just Mario larking around.”
The Italian international ended up with a ticking-off from police. The source added: “There was no damage or disturbance so police He admitted to romping with hooker Jenny Thompson – famous for sleeping with Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, 26 – at his £3million Cheshire mansion.
And he also enjoyed kinky phone sex sessions with blonde model Holly Henderson, 33.
But he has since been desperate to win back underwear model Raffaella. A pal said: “He misses her but she won’t answer his calls.”
Man City make fresh bid for Barcelona star - reports By talkSHIT
Manchester City are poised to make a fresh attempt to lure Barcelona star Dani Alves to the Premier League this summer.
Reports in Spain suggest that City have made their intention to snatch the 29-year-old Brazil international clear, tabling an offer of €15m and Aleksandar Kolarov.
Following their title win Roberto Mancini has revealed he is keen to strengthen his squad in preparation for next season.
And Spanish newspaper Sport claims City haven’t been slow to contact the Catalan giants and open negotiatons.
“Barcelona and Real Madrid every year buy two or three players and spend a lot of money,” Mancini said.
“I think for Manchester City it will be the same. We need to improve. We need to have the strength to play Champions League and Premier League.”
