We may get the better of them from time to time, but chances are, we wont play them that often, and unless we completely dominate the champions league for years (who does?) they're always going to be there or thereabouts as a top team.
Plus, a squad can only be so big, hence there will always be enough top quality players, staff and managers to keep the game competetive, and the attraction of history that Barca and Real have, especially on the continent, makes me think that they'll always be around, and will probably always be a more attractive destination than City. At least for the next 10, 20 years.
Totally realistic, this. Not even our Manc climate will swing it in the short term.
