Warnock bought a new team - by the time useless got hold of them they should have gelled enough to reach mid way in the prem...they didnt...... and he got away with been relegated by the skin of his teeth.

You seriously are a fucking idiot.

They were 17th. In your fucking delirious state you think they were just about to miraculously jump half a dozen places the week warnock was sacked?

Put down the crack pipe!

Like I pointed out: 12 points in first 9 games, 5 in the next 11. There was no positive statistical trend to even suggest 'gelling' was a factor. However, it might actually be one... NQDP?

I know, it's like arguing with a brick wall, yet just when I think I'm out, they pull me right back in.

My summary of 'their side':

Socrates: many good points, but overly smug on his best ones.
CARL: on a wind up. would be prepared to meet in the middle if it became boring for him.
NQDP: looking like the Rag-hater he's always been. Another few cups and he might start supporting City. Will always have the football knowledge of a Chelsea fan, though, I fear.

This is the kind of shit posts you people kept posting when Hughes was in charge and still after that. What was it that Wonderwall said up there about leopard?

There were some people with genuine football knowledge in your side who I actually enjoyed arguing with. But jesus, have YOU ever made single meaningfull post about FOOTBALL? I don't recall seeing one. You made some retarded calculations how Mancini was doing worse than year before few weeks before end of the season. That's the kind of utter bullshit you come with in football discussions.

I wouldn't be stupid enough to call you rag or Chelsea fan, that would be as insulting as you can get on here, but you know absolute square root of fuck all about football. So you out of all the people saying that is bit steep.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Hold on. Now I remember, you actually stopped watching our games that spring Mancini took over. Said so yourself. Don't make me dig up the posts. Now it turns out you have no A) no loyalty to team B) were so fucking attached to one manager that when other came over you stopped watching us.

Bit too much to be called Chelsea supporter by some dickhead who quits on his supposed team when things don't go his way. Now I might be critical of some decisions we make as a Club but you can fucking shoot me if I EVER quit on City. For a second.

Like I said, you better concentrate on things you actually know something about like Rugby.

I did nothing of the sort. Someone came out with some remark along the lines of "Yay, were now having more ponts than last seezon! LOL :), there four we MUST hav done better all ready!!!", and I pointed out that, yes, although we had more points than last season, as a proportion of the amount of points-per-game earned in the league, we still had lower at that time, due to the high number of draws in the 2011-12 season 'absorbing' a number of points.

I didn't call you a Rag or Chelsea fan. I said you hate the Rags more than you love City. And implied that you know diddly-squat about football, like a Chelsea fan. When you get riled, you treat your opinions as facts (I think there are very, very few people in the world who, after reading this thread, would not concede that Hughes is fit to manage a lower-mid Premiership club; you are one of them), and come across as a crass, badgering brat.

No need to dig up the posts. I freely admit that I put football lower down my priorities while we were playing the most tedious football I had seen in my entire life watching City, and probably didn't bother watching 6 or 7 games that I could have, had I rearranged a couple of other things. It was nothing whatsoever to do with 'attachment to the manager', and all to do with 'I'd rather spend a bit of time with my girlfriend/work on my MA thesis/attend training sessions than spend two and a half hours and the best part of €20 watching this drivel in the pub'.

If you think that my side of the story isn't true, I'll gladly drag up the post(s).
